After hearing rumors of Brigg pricing himself out of a Briggs-Haye fight, we see a tweet (dated August 3rd) on Shannon Brigg's twitter account that the fight negotiations are back on.

Yes, that's encouraging. Now we can hopefully see HayeDay 3! It would been a tragedy to humanity if this fight didn't happened. The world needs this fight.

Haye can absolutely KO him. He's an explosive puncher. Vit was an arm puncher by the time he fought Briggs.

If he has such KO power, why did he make like a tree and leave when he saw Briggs at the Barclays?

Have you seen the way Briggs acts? Dude is obnoxious as ****. He wasn't afraid, he was doing like kids do in high school when the lame kid approaches them (BlizzyBlizz).

How? Because he is a human troll? I give the guy credit for shamelessly acting like such a clown that he has remained a figure in boxing thru YouTube clips. But to equate that with "deserve" is a stretch.

Disgusting, if this fight happens then Haye is just taking a leak on British boxing.

It is a crock for sure but Haye said Brigs could fight him next so it should happen.

Was hoping it was postponed and forcing Haye onto fighting an actual live body

He has remained in fantastic shape, unlike many, many other fighters in his division - and from his fights he is above journeyman level, yet too old to be a true contender.

He has given over twenty years of his life to pro boxing, I'd say he is entitled to trade upon his image and past feats a little.

I like Shannon & just bought a t-shirt from him.

Briggs brings life to a stale boxing scene. He is a showman, from the first ring of the bell in the 1st round. I have no problem with Briggs banging around the scene, because I firmly believe he will give his all if put in the ring with a top 20 fighter. Regardless if he wins or losses, Briggs still brings danger with his counterhitting skills and still good power.
