Haye cares more about his Legacy than his bank balance. If only more fighters were like this.

I think a few years ago he was in it for the money, but he has come to realise that it means nothing compared to his legacy.

Some Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. They ask themselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names long after we are gone, and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought. Haye is one of these guys, if he beats Enzo and goes on to win the Heavyweight title, he will be forever reveired in British Boxing.

Maybe guys like Mayweather should think about this to?

Unfortuntately there are very few me like Haye in boxing. Haye is a very rare man. He is prepared to fight anyone, regardless of risk and regardless of his long term plans.

He knows tha Macca does pose somewhat of a risk for a very low reward. But he gives the fans what they want. He gets my appreciation for that.

Well Done Haye. You are a shining example to all pro boxers out there.:good

Thinking like that is why a lot of greats end up broke. Getting kudos from robpalmer135 or TBooze in 20 years time does not pay David Haye's bills; you probably should lose your licence if your primary concern as a pro boxer is anything other than money.

Hayes actions are very rare in British boxing. he must have the atmost belief in his abilities as a boxer. I hope he does very well because he is good for the game.

We all know Haye's genuine already, you post too excessively pro Haye and anything anti Warren.

Well it's nice that Haye persues the good fights - but it's not like he isn't getting paid to face Enzo - he getting a fair deal. If you have the talent it's often a good way to go about it.

Look at Hatton's earnings compared to Calzaghe - compare the one who took the chances and the one that stayed at home. And the sad thing about it is that Calzaghe do have the talent...

I'm pretty sure Haye will make the money needed by doing it this way - and it's going to be nice to see Enzo meet a real contender and get beaten ... one thing is for sure - that fight isn't going the distance :D

??? You sure about that? Mayweather has the best resume in boxing since Ray Leonard. He's beaten everyone he's needed to with the exception of Cotto.

Agreed but I see NO foundation for your Mayweather jibe.

Haye is a thug. I hope he beats Enzo because of his willingness to be a somebody.

It's hard to be too pro-Haye and is absolutely impossible to be too anti-Warren.

Very correct and thats the more logical approach. At the end of the day Haye is going to be a great British fighter. He has the right attitude in terms of wanting to fight the best and really believes in his own ability.Lets just hope he puts in the roadwork and is wise enough to get top dollar for his efforts.
