Haye cares more about his Legacy than his bank balance.

Can you really become undisputed champ with a couple or world level fights ? If he beat Cunningham and Adamek then he would have been undisputed.

How were his actions so rare ?

He as mandatory challenger for a world title - so he was obliged to go to the champions country for the fight - and he just happened to win.

Mormeck wasnt obliged to fight him in Britain. Mormeck was french.

Robin Reid won a World title in Italy.

Naseem Hamed won a World title in America.

Joe Calzaghe won the Ring title in America.

Lloyd Honeyghan won the Undsipted title in America.

the list goes on and on and on....................

 

you can become undisputed champion with just one fight- like Hasim Rahman or Lloyd Honeyghan or Buster Douglas did.

But in Hayes case he was never undisputed champion.

 

Unfortunately, the HW Haye is a farce who is earning millions for a fighting a boring fight, an old guy and a mismatch.

So if your forced to Vacate a belt - you are no longer undisputed.

Bell failed to defend against Cunnigham or Adamek so was rightly stripped.
