Completely agree. Also the WBA have stated that if Chagaev doesn't pass the medical in the UK then Haye doesn't have to fight him.

Faye only fights once a year and avoids top ten fighters like a fish avoids the beach.

WBA said nothing about UK. The fight promoter decides the place of the fight. If the fight falls through WBA keeps 10% of the purse

Haye would make the worst payday of all his recent HW fights I assume. The PPV against Chagaev would probably be a complete disaster, unless the Sky Box Office hype machine will be able to turn Chagaev into a menacing contender -- after he almost got knocked out by a journeyman in his last contest.

Chageav is a terrible choice for Haye from a financial point of view. Low risk but also low reward.

Haye should call out of retirement: Lamon Brewster, Corrie Sanders, and Ross Purrity.

If he knocks them all out, he won't have to bother facing Wlad Klitschko and can retire beating Klits by default.

he's never going to risk fighting the huggable bear when he can just moan about not getting the fight he wants.
Shame that these fights just aren't materialising. Haye can't exactly be tired after fighting harrison, get in the ring and bash somebody about.

What PPV numbers will Haye generate against a completely unknown and hard to market Chagaev? Haye must be disgusted thinking that the Chagaev fight might end up being his lowest payday in over 2 years.

Apart from fight invovling a Klitscko, Pacquiao and Mayweather and Hayes fight with Harrison the Haye vs Ruiz would of been the next highest grossing fight. It still did decent PPV figures and sold out a 20,000 seat arena.

Haye can still make £5million agaisnt Chagaev.

I think Hayes camp will try and get Chag to step aside and set up Adameck though.

Really? I read that Haye would have made 5 million quid vs Audley. 3.5 million for 700k PPV and 1.5 million from the gate.

So you think Haye - Chagaev would do more than 700k PPV? Is it so unrealistic to think Haye - Chageav would do only 300-400k?
