Did Bunce say there was a small additional fee for the fight or did that only apply to new subscribers?

    Thanks

My understanding of it is that Boxnation are trying to reduce the amount of 'last minute' subscribers to the fight.

What they are basically saying is subscribe now and you'll get the next four weeks of Boxnation (including all the buildup, the fight itself, and any additional shows in that time) for the standard monthly price.

I believe the surcharge will kick in about a week before the fight, anybody subscribing after that time will basically pay more for that months coverage.

I don't believe it's Boxnation trying to make more money actually, I think it's them trying to encourage people to sign up in advance (so in affect the surcharge is intended to be a deterrent), and not leave it (as always seems to happen with these things) until the last moment.

It really annoys me when people leave signing up for events until late on, and then moan when they can't get it booked!

:lol:Agreed mate, disappointing at the moment...........

They keep saying all along that HD will come at some point this year, I had hoped it would be in time for this fight, but is looking less likely now with only a few weeks to go.

It's a shame, going HD in time for this fight could have been a real incentive for undecided subscribers..................

I've watched all the Euro Championships in HD, can't say its improved my enjoyment of the football to any great extent.

I agree Boxnation has been dissapointing this week but generally it is a decent channel for hardened boxing fans.

Maybe but if you watch an SD broadcast now, it is very frustrating. We've come to expect a higher standard and it pisses me off watching in poorer quality.

Boxing not so much yet as I don't have Sky sports anyway and for years i've been used to dodgy 4am US feeds and jewtube videos so I kind of expect it but if I ever get Sky HD I'm sure i'll feel the same

I'm not sure CV. I honestly don't think I'll be that bothered either way, kinda like "yeah, nice but.....".

Differen't strokes G. Picture quality is very important to me. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather watch a 240p Ward-Gatti over a Prizefighter HW's in HD anytime
