While I agree that Haye-Chisora is the more entertaining fight because of their behaviors, it is not fair to discredit Wlad and Tony who don't talk **** and are professional inside and outside the ring, if you don't appreciate it then don't watch it.
Without the press conference glussing and Dereck threatening to burn and physically shoot David Haye, it would be much less exciting, if Vitali was able to knock Dereck out then most people outside of UK would have given a **** about this fight.

Actually you are the butthurt Haye fan who could not accept that your man could not become the savior of the division that he claimed to be.
The thing is, the Klitschkos are too good, most predict a Klitschko win for their fight, even the haters, except for the Haye bout.
You thought Haye would knock Wlad out, yet he was the one doing 100m dash in a boxing match, you are butthurt for several reasons anyway.
    Don't tell me about pathetic.

Duranimal I'm an atheist! Those burnings I mentioned, were [mostly] by religious types who did not like that other individuals did not share their beliefs!

At least it is a fight between two actual top 10 fighters who are still both very much in their primes.

...But it still doesn't make it an exciting fight. Essentially, that's what the issue is here.

Ironic considering this thread started up based on what WLAD said :S

i.e. Calling Haye and Chisora a Freak show.

    All in All,

Would you rather watch Manchester United play Doncaster Rovers in a Friendly,

Or would you rather watch Chelsea go at it with Liverpool?

United fans will watch Man Utd vs Doncaster. Football fans will watch Chelsea vs. Liverpool.

    Likewise,

Chisora Vs. Haye is great for Boxing fans.

Wlad Vs. Thompson is great for Wlad fans.

    Simple.

Actually Chisora has shown that he is generally in exciting fights and isnt afraid to engage with big punchers and Haye has shown that he is a slick big puncher.

    Should be an interesting fight.

About 100x more interesting than watching Wlad beat up the corpse of a cruiserweight that Haye had already KO'd in Mormeck.

I replied to someone who said Haye vs Chisora draws more interest than Wlad vs Thompson, I stated it is because of their WWE antics rather than because of their skills, also ppl are not sure who will win, well in the Wlad fight it is known who will be the huge favorite.
I could not watch the video, but maybe Wlad just calls both freaks because of their weird characters, and not because they don't deserve to be in a ring together?

I am a huge football fan but your comparison is not valid, I can turn it around and ask you: What if Napoli vs. Paris St.Germain was a Champions League final match, and Chelsea vs. Liverpool was regular Premier match? What would ppl in the world then watch?

I don't think anyone on the face of the earth can justify that bull**** fight. And Wlad fans act like that's some exciting ****.

    Just expressing his sentiments

Chisora and haye did act like dumb asses in Germany

Wlad can say whatever he wants after basically winning every round vs Haye

I see where you're coming from in that case.

The quote regarding the Freak Show was from the Newspaper article, and as for your football comment, whilst the Heavyweight Championship was once the 'Champions League Final'... It's more of an FA Cup competition now.

Sure, Tony Thompson won 5 fights in a row, but we all still know he has no chance in hell of winning this fight. Likewise, Mormeck did Sweet FA to justify his shot, and that was a complete mis-match.

People criticise Haye a lot (rightly so) over his performance Vs. Wlad - But we all know he is a far better fighter than that. And Chisora is willing fight anyone, anytime - Something very few fighters in the division can attest to. This includes Haye, Wlad, and Vitali - Alongside many other 'contenders'.

But ultimately, it's that, and the backstory that makes this the most exciting fight of 2012 so far.
