True story. It was actually kind of sad because they didn't say either fighters name. They referred to them as simply as, "two boxers." It was followed by a story about a BU hockey player being arrested for sexual assault. It's actually kind of symbolic if you think about it. After all, they are regional fighters and are completely irrelevant in the US. The only chance they do have at gaining some sort of notoriety here is by doing trash like this. Sad...
Yeah, but they made news. And people may see this and go "who are those guys?" and then look into it a bit. And when the fight is made, they just might tune in! This could be the start of a RENAISSANCE of boxing! Thank Messrs. Chisora and Haye!!!
Ha. Doubt it. It wasn't even featured in the sports segment. They treated it like one of those stories about a guy running over a kid with a snowmobile or something... sensationalist crap.
No. That's my point. They had to become common criminals to even get an ounce of "recognition." It's an embarrassment.
not really. most of america just doesn't give a **** about pathetic regional fighters like chisora or haye.
no they're too busy hyping up the likes of Devon Alexander while he gets his ass whipped by unknown "regional" Ukranian and Argentinian fighters
On the CNN channel yesterday, over 12 hours after the press conference fight, there was an update which said 'Chisora slaps Klitschko' (or something like that).
