Haye Confirms That He Has Not Had Any Contact With The Klits

    A lot of boxers put age limits on their careers when they are young or in their prime but nearly every single one of them goes over that limit and retire when they just arn't good enough any more.

    This is interesting. I wonder whether this new attitude will see him taking more fihts as well? Previously he has always tried to do things in the fewest steps possible. If he's now talking about defending titles to build a legacy will he also take more fights if he needs to before going in with the Klits?

    It's possible. Haye does have plenty of options out there with the Klits being the two biggest options. Should Haye defeat Ruiz, a fight with either B-Hop or Adamek could also make him a huge sum of money and get him huge exposure as well and would be a logical move. Then, you could argue that he offers more at the negotiating table than either of the Klits:think Who knows?:think It is definately an interesting quote, though.

    I say get rid of Ruiz then Adamek/ then Hopkins then a mandatory will probably have to be dealt with then go for the Klitschko's

    I'd say get rid of Ruiz then aim for either Klit and nothing else. Fighting Hopkins is a farce. Fighting Adamek is a risk not worth taking. Nobody else in the Div worth mentioning bar the brothers.

    Adamek isn't too much of a risk at HW, IMO. At cruiser it would have been a very good fight, though. Imagine the hype for a Haye-Adamek fight in a stadium in Poland or in New Jersey (or somewhere else in the States with a big Polish contingent). A fight with B-Hop would be huge. It would have a huge build-up and Haye's name would be everywhere. In terms of a HW fight, beating B-Hop will prove very little, but it would be massive exposure in the States and could potentially make Haye the daddy in negotiations with the Klits.

    Personally, should he beat Ruiz, I'd rather see Haye go straight for Wlad. I do, however, realise that a fight with B-Hop or Adamek could give Haye the chance to capitalise on a very big name.

    Bollocks. If Haye opts for Hopkins i'll go off him big time. He's waited enough for Vitali to cripple. Vitali next Wlad after that nothing else

    Wlad's going to be tied up with mandatories for most of next year, I think that's why the focus is on Vitali.

    I agree. Get rid of Ruiz then straight for the Klitschko's. Nobody else is worth the trouble at the moment. He can fight them after.

    I personally don't know who I'd prefer to see him fight after Ruiz and won't have a view on this until after the fight. If he takes Ruiz out in 5 or 6 and looks solid in doing so then I'd love to see him fight Wlad next (although in all likleyhood a fight with a Klit is looking like it would be Vitali because he is protecting younger brother) but if there's any sign of vulnerability I'd like to see him take another fight before going for a Klitschko.

    A fight against Adamek could sell out Wembley imo. The stadium isn't far from Slough and there is a huge Polish community here. Those guys like their boxing as well. I think Haye would deal with him comfortably but I'm not sure it would do much to prepare him for a fight with either Klit.

    . . . all assuming he beats Ruiz of course!

    If you don't think he looks good enough against Ruiz then he'll never be good enough. Having one more fight will not change that.
