:yep Whichever way it happened, if Valuev was just dropped with one punch it truly would be something to behold...the crowd sways from right to left, not quite knowing which way to run :think

Don't get me wrong, the amount of hype behind Haye is worrying when it comes from such knowledgable followers of the sport.

I just find it pathetic the amount of praise Wladimir Klitchsko is getting from our American "cousins" when must of it is based upon Haye's withdrawal.

Wlad is probably the best in the World at Heavyweight at the moment but he is so predictable and cumbersum that any successful heavyweight from Lewis back would beat him. And yet, some are proclaiming him to be amongst the best of the last 20-30 years... They clearly haven't seen much footage of the Heavyweight zenith.

I laugh whenever I see it, just because it's so random. I'm guessing that you're a red if you lost the bet :patsch.

totally disagree, but then all these critics of Vlad will never be convinced so why bother, Lewis fought exactly the same way...break down the opponent e.g. Tommy Morrison fight almost identical to the Vlad/Chagaev bout.

Don't rule it out. I heard Arreola was talking up fighting Haye the other day, which I put down to hype at the time, but it's steadilly gained momentum and now that the Vitali-Valuev fight now seems to be on it may just not turn out to just be a rumour (I know, can't quite believe Valuev wants it, either!). Add that to Adam Booth's interview on Sky Sports the other day when he said 'we're looking at other options' and I think the fight could happen. Could is the key word in boxing, though. What a fight that would be- Haye to win and leave the Yanks gobsmacked, only to find their keyboards and start typing the excuses for the loss within 5 mins of Haye's victory.

Haye imo would knock Arreola the **** out inside 8. It might be painful to watch too for Arreola fans. Sky would snap that up no problem. Have them on the same night too. Vital's fight, in Europe, in the evening and then an American switch over for the Haye fight at 4am. A good night's boxing all round no?

Well worth the PPV price Sky will put on it, IMO :good. Great night of action if that's how it will be organised.

Its unklikey to happen but if Valuev KO'd Vitali I would literally laugh my **** off. I suspect that all this talk re Vitali and Valuev is a bit of a negotiation stance.

Your asking for a miracle. Sanders showed how to beat Wlad, you need to be big, have speed and power and a decent chin helps. You also need to go at him. You could see Chagaev had no intention of pressing the action. Wlad took over with the jab and the quick right hand in. The fight went to script.
