Well that 6,000 was more like 8-10k

agasint a little known opponent in a tune up fight with no importance, and just before christmas in a recession

Oh and lets not mention the 20,000+ sell-out for the Enzo fight though because that would not be criticising Haye!

When Haye pulled out, five(!) people wanted their ticket refunded.

The Klitschkos have been selling out venues for ten years in Germany. They are the big draw here, not Haye. Shitty antics don't motivate Germans to buy tickets.

And 400 000 pounds is certainly a lot more than Haye ever made before. Sure, not good money for a HW title fight, but a lot more than Holyfield made in his first six fights at HW before getting a title shot. A tad humility wouldn't be bad for Haye.

 

Facts please. This is all speculation, the terms of what would be paid to whom IF Haye would have won against Wlad are unknown.

Why is it that no other Klitschko opponents ever complained about their terms? Why has Don King been left and sued by more fighters than anybody can count?

A lot of Brits still went to the fight because they had already purchased flights and hotels which were non-refundable , so they might as well see a HW title fight as they are in country.
The injury was fake , The setanta deal was the reason he pulled out, Haye is a greedy sod notice how the Valuev fight is on Sky Box office. He really loves himself!

I believe Chris Byrd and several other heavyweight CHAMPIONS in recent times have gotten less than 400k for a fight, and they were the reigning champions, not unproven challengers that jumped the queue. Most were under DKP consequently....

 

You need to choose only 1 excuse or he had back injury or too low reward.
