    Give me a break.

Steve Cunningham, you honestly think He could beat David. Not a chance, although he is a good fighter.

    I agree:good
Haye is great but Cunningham would've been his toughest opponent
Cunninghams progression is going strong so it would be a battle probably much more so than Haye-Mormeck...possibly

cunningham is a very solid /talented fighter

IMO clearly the biggest threat to haye in the division at the moment although i think alexev will come through next year.

but besides the belt ,i am not sure where the lure is money wise, coming from for a haye v cunningham fight.

haye got $2 million for his fight v macranelli thanks to warren.

is team cunningham going to offer haye millions to fight him ? which it will take to stop haye going to heavy for the big payday`s.

Cunningham is only calling him out cos hes a certainty to go to Heavyweight.

Why fight the biggest p4p puncher since Jackson and Tyson at that stage of his career?

I think Haye should fight Cunningham at 200lbs, but only if its for a huge purse. £1.5m for starters.

A handsome, articulate heavyweight world champion like David Haye could generate huge wealth and popularity.

I dont see the big deal about Cunningham HAYE FIGHT NOT TAKING PLACE. Cunningham can move up to Heavy anytime he wants to fight David and he will accept the challenge.

can cunningham's people come up with the sort of money haye will be demanding to stay at CW for one more fight?

    probably not.

Exactly, Cunningham has a paper belt that should be Haye's, its just that Bell got stripped.

Cunningham is a solid beltholder but I don't see why Haye should fight him. He beat THE champion in Mormeck, he beat the no2/3 guy and unified 3 of the titles. What's more if it wasn't for the IBF's idiotic stripping policy all the 4 belts would hang on his shoulders now. He IS the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world no matter what some corrupt orgs say.

If he stayed in the division as a champ he should give a shot to the no2 guy who's definitely Cunningham now. But he's struggling to make weight and he made it clear long before the Macca fight that he's moving to HW. His legacy is well-founded without Cunningham.

in money terms to put it in perspective don king bid £50k
for the cunningham v wlodarcyck fight .

seminole boxing outbid king with £110k

and don king bid £200k to be split for the huck fight but was outbid by sauerland who bid £220 k

i am not sure how much cunningham got to have to go to south africa to fight rothman.

for some reason, only american tv execs who pay over the hill fighters big money can explain , want little to do with the cunningham and he gets very little exposure in his own country.

Find me one post where I over inflate Steve's abilities. All I've said is that he's a legitimate contender who deserves a shot at Haye. Haye huggers are the ones claiming that Cunningham is a waste and hasn't earned a shot despite being the number 1 contender, yet feel that Haye should be able to go straight to HW and fight for titles without working his way up.

Haye is certainly the lineal champ at CW, and the number 1 fighter. As far as your claim that only morons say that he isn't undisputed, I disagree. The ironic thing about the undisouted status is that it is very much disputed as to what constiutes an undisputed champion. One of the traditional standards for being undisputed champion is to hold the WBA,WBC, and IBF all at once. Under that standard, Haye is not undisputed as he does not hold the IBF strap.

BigReg, technically Haye would have had the IBF too but Bell was stripped because they are ****ing corrupt. If the IBF wasn't so ****ed up Haye would have all 4 belts and your 'argument' over Haye not being undisputed FAILS.

Very much similar to Calzaghe not owning Butes IBF, because he was stripped, but its still his. Proper fans know this.

There will always be a no1 contender. What if Haye stayed in the division to fight Cunningham and then moved up to HW? I'm sure some of the posters here would claim he's ducking Arslan or whoever becomes the next no2.

all well and good but the fight will never happen, haye has made his HW ambitions clear and USS and his people don't bring enough £££££££ to the table to make haye want to stick around at CW for any longer.

    enzo-haye had history ALA hatton-witter.

so let's take a few examples, calzaghe, haye, pavlik, mayweather, hopkins.

these guys are generally considered by 99% of the boxing community as the "men" of their divisions. none of them have unified the WBA, WBC and IBF all at one time (although calzaghe has held all 4 but at different times). do you go by the above standard that you have set to qualify as the undisputed champ of a division or have these guys done enough to be considered the undisputed best of their division?
