Rahman was a last minute replacement for Povetkin Austin was mandatory I believe Castillo fight was only the second fight after losing to Brewster, and wasn't a title fight Brewster II fight was Wlad avenging a loss. I don't really see what is wrong with it, especially considering Brewster was being picked to win by many
I don't think Vitali will retire until he has beaten Haye, he was meant to retire this year, but that doesn't seem to be happening and if it did, Haye would come out and say Vitali ducked him!
And how will he achieve this while ducking the Klits fighting infrequently fighting no one of note and his plans on retiring next year?
I'm not disputing that you fool. I'm just saying the same Klit fans called Haye a joke in 2008 when they thought he was gonna fight Kevin Johnson for his HW debut. Then when Vitali fights him a few months later they try justifying it. And Sosnowski too. That was an utter fraud of a fight.
The Liakhovich fight took a lot out of Brewster, but how was Wlad meant to know that at he time? Looking back we know that Brewster was better in the first fight, but that's with the benefit of hindsight
I like the brothers, but I agree with you that some of the fans are probably hypocritical, but thats got nothing to do with Vitali and Wlad.
we know nothing do we fella, we have no idea what actually goes on or has gone on, who is ducking who or if anyone is ducking anyone, all we knw is what we hear. all im basing my argument on is having watched haye and the klits haye is the better boxer and better puncher, faster on his feet and therefore for me he wins against both bros. klit fans wont see it like that tho im afraid.
But don't you see the HUGE difference?? Wlad & Vitali have had trouble finding opponents. Opponents who have all been offered career high paydays to fight them. Valuev, Haye, Solis, Povetkin, etc.... Wlad & Vitali didn't run their mouth like Haye. As for "The Kingpin" Vitali had come off a 4-year layoff and beaten Samuel Peter who was then Champ, and also Arreola, who was undefeated at the time, and everyone was hyping as a great fighter. Sosnowski I believe is better than a lot of people give him credit for. I don't think he'll ever be champ, but he's a good decent fighter. I think he'd give a lot of fighters, Haye included, a tough fight. So you have Haye: He calls out the top fighters (Wlad & Vitali), says they are bums, etc... and then almost fights Kingpin. Then you have Vitali who is just looking to stay busy with fights, because he doesn't have many available options, or years left in the division, and he fights Kingpin. There's a huge difference there. Don't you see that??
I try not to post that much, because you take a step back and realise how ridiculous most peoples opinions here are. They are so biased... and really unless you are a fighter your opinion is really nul and void. And that goes for my opinion too! As for Haye being the better boxer, nope. He's a good fighter, but his style is annoying to watch and he rabbit punches a lot.
Been there done that with this argument....until proven otherwise Haye is a ducker and not on the Klits level.
fair comment, im a haye fan simple as that i belive in him and his abilities. you are in the klit camp and fair enough, we will have to agree to disagree cos this could go on as long as the floyd pac saga!
It will go on, even if we make a deal and sit it out! Thats what forums are about I suppose, passing the time...
Dont make the wager until they get in the ring. How will Vitali stop David Haye when Haye won't DARE to fight him. Haye will not fight Vitali until Vitali is at least 41, maybe 42, and by then Audley will have already lost his WBA belt to Wlad, so why would the 42 y/o Vitali take this fight a year after his retirement.
