Haye doesn't deserve a shot, has to earn it, yet a top 20 Mormeck is fighting Wlad?!?

Everyone knows it's a joke defence. There really is no justifying it.

 

Mormeck got battered by Oquendo, it was a total robbery. From what I understand, Ibragimov could have got the nod too.

At least Haye had beaten a solid gatekeeper in Barrett & a top 5 heavy in Valuev. Oquendo and Ibragimov were not even top 20.

The point is Mormeck has looked absolutely terrible at heavy. Shot, and too small.

Not only this, but he also drew all this attention, and went out and gave a huge **** you to all the casual fans, all the media, all the British fans by not doing a God Damn thing...nothing. It was disgustingly embarassing, brutally boring, and he made a joke of himself and the sport. Take your ***** ass to the back of the line, you worthless, blow hard, son of a *****. It infuriates me that anybody would even discuss this ****** getting a shot after the bull**** he pulled.

 

Wlad and Vitali earned the right to fight who ever they want next. I personally feel both fights are jokes.

Mormeck is a non entity at HW, and Haye just lost his championship title. But if Wlad extended the offers and they all said no, and Vitali still feels the urge to punch David in the mouth; ****ing go for it.

Just don't expect me to pay to see either of these fights. (Luckily K2 is never PPV here)

 

A joke defense? So would you prefer he stay inactive? You can't force guys to face you. Look at some of the clowns the former hw greats fought.

Keep in mind, Wlad has faced the #3(chagaev), #4 (chambers) and #3 (haye) hws in his last four fights. And if povetkin hadn't bottled it, it would have been another #3 hw instead of Peter last year. The man has wiped out the division and he doesn't avoid anybody.

 

Im not a K2 fan per se', and that's honestly not important, the fact of the matter is that Haye had his chance, completely and totally ****ed it up, and if he wants his "shot" then go earn that **** by beating some of the other guys who are looking for a shot. You talk about a ****ing "Hype Job" Haye at HW is the most glaring example ever.

 

Mormeck, Adamek etc....we are really in the heavweight golden era.......

 

So basically, no one is a better choice than Mormeck.....:nut

 

Dude! Did I say that? Mormeck is not a legit hw contender but he's available and willing. Better than sitting idle and getting rusty although I reckon some of the posters in this thread would prefer that. Personally, I would rather see Wlad face Tarver :yep

 

I agree in a sense but I'd rather see Vitali fight Haye then any other fighter.

id love to see haye fight adamek, see if he can get him out of there faster than vitali did, THEN the vitali fight would be a lot more appealing

 

The alternatives are pretty thin..... Better than Mormeck.....here's some names...

Povetkin and Helenius (both ducking for the time being),
Chambers and Thompson (Wlad has already KOed both and will fight the winner next year)
Tarver (how is he better than Mormeck?)
Arreola (apparently declined)
Dimitrenko (same as above, probably wouldn't want the volunatary defense money anyway)
Haye rematch (this is the best option, but Wlad doesn't want it)

Guys at about the same level as Mormeck

Pulev--this guy's fight just got canceled; he might be a more interesting oppo
Ustinov--K2 fighter why not give him a shot?
Gomez--good name for Wlad's resume, but no better than JMM
Fury--doesn't want Wlad yet
Liakovitch--why not?
Boystov--coming off injury, no more deserving than Mormeck anyway.

Sure, there are a few options that would be better than JMM (Ustinov, Pulev, and Frank Lawrence if they would take the fight) but I would think the money and exposure (in France) from fighting Mormeck decides the issue in favor of Mormeck.

Bottom line is that Arreola, Povetkin and Dimitrenko all refused. Nobody is publicly calling Wlad out.

 

after Haye said he would "knock every HW BUM out" and then picked KJ after EVERY HW was calling him out was a joke......

Plus when Vitali signed to fight KJ... you never ever heard from me "KJ is a great undefeated fighter":-deal

never liked KJ when Haye picked him... still didnt when Vitali did...... but its not my choice or job to pick who the brothers fight:hi:

my job is to get them 100% ready for the fight... simple as that
