Haye doesn't fight like that bro. In fact Haye fight's similar to Vitali's style but Vitali does it better. Both are big guys but Haye's a big CRuiser & Vitali is a big Heavy. They both lean in to goad the oppoent into throwing something that they can counter off of. Vitali being the larger, rangier fighter should be able to counter Haye all night long, for as long as it lasts anyway. :yep

Give Haye some credit for consistently going after the the most difficult opponent in each division he has campaigned in. I wish more fighter would take risks and give the public good fights.

    i agree with you.
both klitschko's are super strong guys - but wlad is a lot more guarded at the start of a fight because he knows how vulnerable he can be.

to be honest haye needs to make something happen bigtime if he fights wlad - but he has time on his side too.

the klitschko's arent gettng any younger and because there is so little out there right now, beating one of them will carry a lot of weight.

Here Haye talks about the Gomez thing and also about sitting down with Vitali.

I know, but I do give Haye credit for accepting the fight. Vitali too.

Agreed. He could try a little more respect in his challenges though.

I thought the Brits had manners? Isn't that where we Americans learned ours?

Indeed Haye deserves great credit for taking on the main men.

It seems that nowadays people are so used to defending fighters for dodging each other they say it's stupid when the two best get it on.:patsch

I disagree with Viatli doing it "better" basically he does it bigger. I think if Vitali was Hayes size he would lose to Haye.

But the fact is, Vitali can just lean back and because his upperbody is so massive he takes a lot of the sting off of his opponents shots, add this to a great chin and it would cause issues.

Haye if he boxed which he can do, he really can, could win on speed.

I think it will be close for 3-4 rounds then Vitali's size and ability to absorb punishment will take over and he will stop Haye in 8 or 9.

    Haye has bottle though.

I am sure he was respectful when the camera were not around but when the press are present he is just generating interest by creating a rivalry.

:rofl:rofl:rofl ill give you that one. i think cajones would have been better.
but i got to disagree about your knock down. he was pushed and barretts glove skimmed his head simple as that. it was never a knock down. last time i checked he didnt get an 8 count either. so no knock down im afraid.

He's toned down a lot lately, and he gave great respect to VIt when he met him. Apart from the comments about Wlad boring everyone to death(which is kind of true)... he hasn't been too bad latly.

To anyone getting insulted by Haye's calculated series of challenges...it's paid off for him, he's got the biggest fight and biggest payday of his career coming up.

If he gets knocked out? He just carries on and fights another day. Wlad's come back from knockout losses, no problem in Haye doing the same.

If he wins? Well, I don't need to spell out how big that would be.

Vitali's the firm favourite but credit to Haye for doing exactly what several people here insisted he wouldn't do - go after the biggest fights around.

I agree it would be a closer fight if they were the same size but I think you're giving Haye too much speed credit here. I have yet to see this amzing speed I've heard about & I've seen Haye fight a few times. I think he has very leaky defense & a very suspect chin. He certainly won't bully Vitali on the inside either.

He pretty much just asked to be killed much faster...talking about bringing the action and being safety first...he's going to go down within 4 :verysad
