Blokes, I just broke out my tape of "Valubum-Haye" earlier tonight for review purposes. I gotta say while the fight was not as stinky as the 2008 sparring match of "Valubum-Holy," this bout here was not much better in 2009....:blood If the fans of David Haye think either K-brother will approach Haye with the type of passion that Nicky Valubum came with, you've got another thing coming.... Dream On..........:yep As it was, one judge called the fight (Valubum-Haye) a draw, as did Col. Bob Sheridan who called the fight for PPV..... As of now, the WBA title is very shallow and lacks depth.....:deal SO! David Haye will now go after Fraudley Harrison---WOW! I do find the match interesting, but, this match would've been more so welcomed three or four yrs ago......:think BOTTOM LINE: David Haye will never be thought of as a lineal or linear heavyweight champion like he says he wishes to become.......:-( Not gonna happen for Haye.......:hi: MR.BILL:hat:bbb
I think fans of Haye reek of desperation. They had Lewis, a true ATG. Then he retired. So now they are latching onto Haye, who is not fit to be mentioned in the same. Sentence as Lewis.
Who's that in the avatar---Joe Walcott, Joe Gans or Sammy Langford?:huh I can't tell......:-( MR.BILL:thumbsup
If he only had the balls to face one, we could find out. I still think he beats VK. Wlad is another story.
'Twas a much better brawl than Valubum's last couple of fights with "Holy & Holy." :yep:scaredas: MR.BILL:deal
I agree with the 2nd sentence, Haye isn't in Lewis's league - but neither were the Klits, and that's what these nut-huggers need to realise. It's not desperation at all, we've all seen VITLAYS quit job against Byrd and WALDO getting bounced around the ring like a basketball. Both the brothers are extremely vulnerable, Haye may just be the man to expose it.
The K-bros since 2003 have risen their games' and are now in the same league and class as Lenny Lewis WAS in seven yrs ago....... David Haye is nowhere in site as a heavyweight champion...... MR.BILL
VK wasn't in Lewis' league? Are you kidding? With his face nearly ripped off he was STILL beating Lewis 4-2! I know Lewis actually caused the cuts (no arguing)...BUt fact remains that Lewis was worn out, VK *was* winning 4-2, and even with a million cuts and blood everywhere he still wasn't able to put VK away! SO, what makes you beleive he wasn't in Lewis' league? Even Rahman knocked Lewis out cold whenever Lewis was around his prime. If Rahman could do it...I'm certain wlad, or VK could do it as well.
Prime has a point......... Detractors love to point out V.K.'s losses to "Byrd and Lewis." Fine, but these *******s who are always whining fail to see that V.K. was well ahead in both fights upon being halted due to INJURY; not lack of heart, soul or stamina..... And no way in hell was V.K. ever gased out and sucking air when them two bouts were stopped in the corner..... V.K. got up off his stool looking concerned and pissed when the ring doc stopped the fight with Len Lewis after round 6 in '03.... That is NOT quitting in my book...... V.K. was forced to stop cuz of circumstances beyond his control..... Quitting is what Sonny Liston did back in 1964 against Clay and then diving against Ali in 1965........... WORD!! bbb:good MR.BILL
