Its because Haye has more charisma in his left nut, than Wlad does in his entire body. People wonder why HBO pulled the plug on Wlad 3 years, the guy can't get anybody to watch him outside of Germany. His fights are boring, as well as his personality. Wlad has no killer instinct in the ring, and it takes for Steward to practically curse him out in the corner just for him to throw a meaningful right hand. I grew up watching heavyweights like Holyfield, Tyson, and even Lewis. Those guys new how to finish a fight when they seen their opponent hurt, or at least tried to end the fight. Wlad is so afraid of getting hit himself, he wont even go for the kill when the opertunity presents itself.

Haye is the opposite. He's a very charismatic man in and out of the ring. His fights generally end with a knockout, and unlike Wlad is not afraid to throw power punches. The heavyweight division needs a breathe of fresh air, and I feel Haye can bring that to the table. Wlad and his brother, seemed to have turned more fans away from the sport, than brought them in.

You immediately started talking about David Haye's balls.:rofl You guys are scary.

I won't even get into how off target and wrong your entire post is. I will jump right to the end. Which is hilarious...
You mean the guy who came up to the heavyweight division talking trash and making promises about knocking out the Klitschko brothers... has pulled out of fights with them left and right... avoided them.... took the easiest path to the WBA paper title... won the title in the most boring fight I have ever seen, much worse than Wlad vs Ibragimov... BY A CONTROVERSIAL DECISION... then decided to defend against the likes of ancient, never was good Ruiz, and use non-mandatory defense to fight Audley Harrison? That's the kind of fresh air that the Heavyweight needs?

Let alone this little tid bit... THE MAN PROMISES THAT HE IS RETIRING IN OCTOBER!!!!!:rofl:rofl That's what the heavyweight division needs?

What an amazing breath of fresh air.

Yeah... the division needs a guy who comes up making promises... actually creates some hype... uses that hype to manipulate his fans into making him rich while NOT fighting the best fighters, and definitely not the Klitschkos.... and then says that he is retiring before this year is over. How exciting for us.

I agree with the part about Haye not quite living up to the hype. Though he did create on hell of a buzz, something Wlad hasn't done in years. Even you recognize the fact his popularity in the states has been on the decrease since the Iggy fight, when HBO finally had enough of his boring fights and stopped showing them. Now he's reduced to fighting on internet broadcasts.

The division does lack excitement, and other than Haye fighting one of the Klits. Every other fight just seem lackluster to me, and ESB seems to agree with me on that. I dont blame Wlad for not taking the fight with Haye and bypassing his agreed upon fight with that nobody. I just think Wlad should start looking towards building a better resume, the names that are currently on it are no world beaters and certainly no hall of fame names. Haye might just be the best opponent Wlad has ever faced.

Because they like the fact Haye is cleaning out the basement of the heavyweight division. Some folk need retiring, lets hope he gets rid of Rahman and Holyfield before hanging them up himself.

You can't blame Haye for this ****. **** Wlad for pulling this ***** move to fight a ****ing rooky with 15 fights instead of Haye.

The fans have been waiting for this fight for years and Wlad pulls this **** now. **** that **** and his groupies.

I'm tired of both of these mother****ers playing games with boxing and the fans. The heavyweight division is a ****ing joke and wlad is the main piece in that **** and contributing to it.

I am sure you are incorrect....lol. Seeing as how your entire country is smaller than our smallest state numbers may be a bit skewed. You just kill each other with knives instead of guns. :good

Haye is to blame. The fight could have happened already if Haye hadn't faked a back injury and ducked. Haye would have already been KOed, exposed and forgotten. But he wanted to screw the UK public out of millions before his retirement fund fight. Haye could have fought Wlad instead of Harrison but he bitched up. Why do you blame Wlad for not trusting a guy that has been using his name for years to make money while ducking. Now Haye will retire and noone will care. Haye made his bed.:deal

i wanna see this fight about as much as manny/floyd. Hay! sign the contract. 2011 would be the biggest for boxing if they can just sign their name and fight like its boxing.

i am a huge haye fan and i am not british. i like how his fights are exciting and end in knockouts. yes the valuev fight was not, but valuev weighed like 140 pounds more than haye. its like fighting an ogre. there is no point to risk getting hit...and haye is charismatic. he makes hUge promises and then delivers them. he creates hype, and makes you wanna watch his fights. he made a huge deal out of fighting audley harrison which is like a david/goliath match- but he made the buildup exciting. HE said he will embarass audley and did though. i enjoy watching haye fight anyone because hes wild and anything can happen (including him getting knocked out)...but fights with klitschkos (sosnowskis, johnson, chisoras) do not excite the public. they fail to entertain and need big names like haye to create excitement

Good point...I had always thought the reason America were'nt interested in Vladimir was maybe due to ignorance on their part but he really does have no charisma or know anything about self promotion or selling a fight, the guy is such a light weight when it comes to entertainment thats why no one outside Germany as even watched more than a couple of fights.
