fans of david haye...and it seems there are a lot here saying he'll win this.
what has he done to suggest he has a chance of beating wlad?...i dont see anything to indicate that he can win this...
he ran from valeuv...holyfield beat valeuv better than haye
ruiz was an old workhorse who was bored with all his wba title shots, it was about his 100th one
harrison was a joke fight if not a set up
barrett fight was against a 37 yr old who was beaten quicker by cliff couser than by haye
mormeck at cruiserweight had haye on his arse

wlad is far superior now to the sanders loss

what is there to point to a haye victory?

Nothing, to be honest. It's unfortunate that he's just too small to have a real shot at the (two) top dogs in the current heavyweight scene and too big to stay at cruiser. That's what will ultimately have held him back from greatness when time is called on his career.

He can't and won't beat Klitschko, unfortunately. He's missed the boost by a couple of inches and a couple of stones.

Well that's all it takes. If someone appears fast & powerful people will give them a chance especially as some people don't see Wlad as invincible.
Wlad is still favourite by the way. People just think Haye has a better chance than some of the slow overweight heavies.

Size is hardly the issue. Shame boxing fans have learned nothing from Pacquaio after all.

I don't think he's too small to beat Wlad. He is however not good enough to beat Wlad. Loved to be proved wrong however.

he ran from valeuv...holyfield beat valeuv better than haye -

Thats probably one of the biggest misconceptions in boxing. every journo in the arena had Valuev winning that fight. Have you ever watched the fight with the sound down? and Haye was more convincing. He was never going to KO Valuev so he had to fight that way which was different to anything we had ever seen from him before.

ruiz was an old workhorse who was bored with all his wba title shots, it was about his 100th one -

See your already getting silly. Ruiz was up for that fight and he was a better, more in shape version of Ruiz than we had seen in many years. Haye showed in this fight where he was sub par that he has the power and speed to hurt natural heavyweights.

harrison was a joke fight if not a set up -

Agree. If you don't think every single fighter in the world would have taken a simular fight for that money your living in lala land though.

barrett fight was against a 37 yr old who was beaten quicker by cliff couser than by haye -

again your being very selective. Have you seen the Clouser fight, what happend in the rematch?? Barrett was up for the fight and a perfectly acceptable 1st fight at Heavyweight. The Solis fight, taken at a days notice, aside He has shown since he is still capable.

mormeck at cruiserweight had haye on his arse -

Ross Purity, Lamon Brewster, Corrie Sanders, Sam Peter all worse fighters than Haye and they had Klitscko on his arse. Mormeck was a top level fighter. Has Haye even been hurt at Heavyweight??

wlad is far superior now to the sanders loss

He got sparked out since that loss? Has he faced anyone with the attributes of Haye since that fight, or in his whole career?

what is there to point to a haye victory?

Haye has speed, power, won't be blocking the jab with his hands or face, can move around the ring, will have some sort of gameplan/tactics along with a winning mentality. Klitscko has avoided this kind of opponent his whole career.

Look by no means am i saying Haye will 100% win this fight. Klitscko is deffinatley a favourite but to say a guy like Haye who has all the attributes that have beaten Wladamir Klitscko in the past does not have a chance is laughable.

also what the **** has Herbie Hide got to do with it. When did Herbie Hide fight Wladamir Klitscko???

Haye isn't Pacquiao and when has Pacquiao taken on a truly world class opponent who outweighed him by three stones on fight night?

Despite the size disadvantage, if Haye had a chin and engine like Pacquiao, he'd destroy Wlad. He doesn't.
