Vitali has a pretty lacklustre legacy, sure, but what exactly does Haye bring to that which would elevate it? Haye's overplayed his hand these last few years, and clearly thinks he's still held in the same sort of regard as he was at the beginning of 2011. And at this point it couldn't be clearer that he's only in it for the money. He's a total desperate case. The man appeared on I'm a Celebrity FFS, why the **** would Vitali want to fight him now?

 

Exactly. Vitali's resume stinks but it won't get any better if he wins a stinker against a stinker in Haye.

The gain in legacy is irrelevant. The paycheck however isn't, and for this reason I believe Vitali will come around and fight Haye.

What wont I understand? That Wach withstood a lot of punishment, that Wlad wasn't able to land clean on Haye or that Haye was defensively sound and a different boxer to Wach? Care to clarify your comment for this Briton?

That is the problem. The fans want to see a fight. Who cares about trash talk and hype? Do you really give a **** that Haye will tell us at the Press Conferences that he will brutally and savagely KO Vitali yet when the actual fight happens he runs around the ring throwing 10 punches a round like he did against Valuev and Wlad? Do you really want to sit thorough that **** again? I sure as hell don't and apparently neither does HBO because they banned Haye from the network after only one fight :roflatsch

Haye has proven he will not engage with anyone bigger than him for whatever reason. His fights with Valuev and Wlad were AWFUL after he talked for YEARS about KOing Wlad and Vitali the guy showed up and put on one of the worst efforts I have ever seen. Objective Boxing fans knew what was going to happen but the Brits still buy into all his talk. No shock really since they also bought into Glass Jawed Frauds like Hatton and Khan also and still do to this very day :rofl:rofl

 

Haye openly claimed he was going after the "weaker" brother in Wlad.
