Attention seeking from Haye, you put a contract in front of him and he pulls out an excuse from his 101 book.
Haye has fought one good fighter in his career and he lost. He needs this fight or nobody will remember him
Maybe Haye should earn finally his shot in the ring, lest him beat top 10 contender, guy like Price or Fury and then secure mandatory position and get the fight like eaverybody else
Vitali may be on the slide, but he is still leagues above Haye, with a chin of steel and more aggressive than Wlad when pushed. Vitali doesn't appear to have declined any where near enough for Haye to have so much as a chance. Do not mistake Haye's sales bluster for confidence, he would do the same as he did against Wlad - just run, make excuses and take the paycheck. I'm amazed people are falling for it yet again.
I can't see that Vitali beating Haye would somehow secure his legacy. Given the derision on these forums by some fans, a Haye win would mean next to nothing. Vitali just needs to call it quits. Whether he wants to bow out on tne Charr fight is up to him. Whether he thinks beating Haye would put the seal on a good career is probably something he needs to weigh up. I'd watch it, and so would the people who have done nothing but moan. I doubt it will happen anyway. Vitali retires, Haye might have one more depending on how the domestic heavyweights do. Failing that he retires also.
Im with Ilesey on this one. Vitali needs to make up his mind. No matter what he does from here on, his resume won't get any better if he fights Haye or not.
