Haye said in the interview he didn't go for the ko early because he told his family and friends to bet on a knockout in round three! That's fight rigging! and they need to take his purse, even if Harrison wasn't in on it [but i think he was] the fight was still fixed.........

So, when Ali predicted which round he'd knock a guy out in and then tried to and sometimes did make his prediction true, was that fixing it?

Step forward those who have some common sense. Hold on, not so fast Bubby.

You sir, are a ****ing ******.

Haye isn't the only boxer to have ever predicted the outcome of a fight - and for it then to happen. But I suppose Ali was fixing fights as well was he? You'd also probably need the ref in on it as well by the way.

Did Harrison fight like an animal before this and then put in a subpar tentative display as the fix was in, or did he do what most people expected.

I think you know the answer.

People don't realize how extremely serious sport betting scandals are.

There's a major one going on as the head of IMG - a company that indirectly represent Roger Federer - supposedly bet on the tennis player 3 years ago. If it's true that David Haye DIRECTLY placed a bet on his own fight, he will be banned, that's absolutely sure.

    He didn't.

Te BBBoC have already cleared Haye of any wrong doing.

Let's just wait and see where will this scandal go. BTW, don't you feel a little disappointed you threw out 15 for something lower than nothing?

As opposed to already claiming the fight was a fix, huh?

And no, it was £15 for ****s sake. I knew full well what would happen before I paid any money.

But Haye bet on himself and not on Audley. Had he bet on Audley and took a dive, that'd be criminal but this way the only people screwed are these who have placed bets on anything else than TKO3.

It's not like he had a contract with Audly commanding him to go down in 3.

I hear ya, but Haye didn't predict it before the fight like Ali use to. He stupidly said in the post fight interview that he chose to KO him in the third because he and his friends had money on it. I think thats very different.

This was not a fixed fight, Harrison was just that bad...and has always just been that bad. I said before the fight that Harrison would be too scared to throw a punch...

I dont see the issue. Fighters back in the day bet on themselves. As long as Audley didnt bet on himself to lose then we have nothing to worry about.

You don't understand. Under today's rules and laws, no athlete (or anyone related to him/her) can bet on his own event, absolutely prohibited! In boxing there are crazy odds on round betting, and it seems Haye might've done that - and look what happened and how Harrison fought!
