Exactly. No one can compare what Ali did to what Gaye did which was criminal if that were what happened. It is a serious infringement of law.

On the sidenote: People know that Gaye lies alot so that I guess he is not going under investigation for saying that.

If Klitschko did the same thing the British fans would be all over it but as it's one of there own it's just swept under the rug. The hypocrisy on this forum is unbelievable. Haye has said in the past that he doubles his money by betting on himself to win. If it's against the BBBofC's rules he should face the consequences.

The mentality is that he is one of them so that he can get away with any infringement.

And when Audley says he was ready to continue and the ref stopped it too early, we should believe him too? Haye is a wind up merchant. If he did indeed bet on himself and its against the rules, then he'll be in trouble. But I'm sure the BBBoC have looked into it appropriately. Unlike some athletic commissions they aren't a bunch of sharks.

And regarding that comment that if Wladimir did it we'd be up in arms... NO, everyone on this planet would love it if Wlad chose the 3rd round to knock out a bum instead of waiting 10.

The thing is that unlike Gaye, Wladimir does not fight bums or elderly. It's Gaye's trade mark.

Haye did bet on himself though. George Groves on the undercard after his fight said Haye had told him what round to bet on, and he and all his mates had bet on it. George Groves was jumping about like a lunatic when the KO happened. He'd won a lot of dough.

I am starting to think most of us just underestimated Haye. He is planning to retire next year, so what is the better way to go out then hype up for the second biggest pay day in boxing, get his 50% split with Wlad, and retire with $10mil while leaving the UK fans holding dicks in their hands.

SO predicting the outcome of the fight is fight rigging?
