Chisora gave Usyk nightmares and many people felt Chisora won. David Haye destroyed a younger, more fresh version of Chisora in devastating fashion in 5 rounds, so how do you see this one going?
Usyk jabs Haye all over the shop Feet too good Chisora bulldozed at full pace for 4 rounds then blew out. Usyk didn't really struggle. Just knew he had to wait out the storm. He started quick against Fury was chuffed with the free rounds fury gave away then all hell broke loose and it was looking grim before he found the power of Christ within him to turn the tides.
Only the most biased or blind Brit would feel that. Chisora won 3 or 4 rounds at best. Usyk on points. Something like 118-110.
No version of Haye is beating Usyk. Haye was full of **** and his time at Heavyweight was an absolute waste.
Given what Usyk has gone on to do, you’d heavily favour him. But that version of Haye was no joke, especially vs a man his own size.
Total bullsh1t. Most people thought Usyk won 117-111 and I haven't heard anybody scoring it a draw, let alone win for Chisora. Chisora himself said recently Usyk kicked his butt among other British fighters. This attempt of revision of the fight which everyone remembers well is epic fail from your side
It was 116-112/117-111 The fact Chisora took 4 rounds off him and went the 12 is fairly impressive, given the plodder he is.
I'm going for Usyk against any version ever of Haye. Haye was a sniper who didn't really throw punches in bunches untill he had his man hurt. Other than maybe out right one punch power, Usyk is better in every other department than Haye. Including the chin.
A fully fit Haye with no issues with his toes would give Usyk all he can handle for about 2-3 rounds then Usyk takes over take KO's Haye by round 10 similar to the Bellew fight
Yeah Chisora has no argument to beating Usyk but he still gave it his all and gave Usyk a tougher fight than Joshua did in 2 attempts. As for the thread Haye's stamina wasn't the best he gassed out vs a 40 year old Thompson, Usyk's high output, footwork, angles, would have Haye totally gassed by the 2nd half of the fight and Usyk then stops him. I think Haye would make it interesting though in the 1st half of the fight with his speed and dangerous power. But the 2nd half of the fight as I said Usyk would completely take over from then on.
I agree with your prediction but Haye was ravaged with injuries vs Bellew and ruptured his Achilles Tendon and couldn't even stand properly for half of the fight.
I also fancy Usyk but Haye had something that was very useful, which is a combination of speed and power. I think he'd have better chances than Chisora of landing the KO punch if he went for it. That said: Haye also tried to pick his punches which may not work so well against a defensive wizard like Usyk. Chisora just said to hell with it and tried to throw a bunch of shots and pressure right off the bat which I reckon may have helped him a bit.
Agreed. That was part of my point, in that Haye liked and really needed to set up and time his punches, involving periods of inactivity, hence the sniper comment. I think Usyks pressure and all round skill levels would have negated Hayes style. Usyk wouldn't have given him the time or space for Haye to set and re-set I think. And yes, Chisora's rampant marauding swarming style probably causes more problems for Usyk than Hayes calculated, cautious stalking style. The last thing you give Usyk is room, and time to think, and plan. It's would have been a great match up, I think, had it been possible. At cruiser or Heavy.
