“Many felt” ?? Lol Nobody with any sense actually felt that chisora won that fight. Usyk won 8-9 rounds and beat the **** out of chisora in the later parts. And haye would get schooled badly. Even worse than he was against another one of their common opponents… Bellew
Usyk was way better in both CW and HW in terms of resume and overall skills. That being said, no one blew Chisora out in the 5 rounds. Haye performed better vs Chisora than Usyk did, but I highly doubt he could've beaten Briedis, AJ or Fury. I have no doubt Usyk clearly beats all Haye opponents besides Wlad which is toss-up
Usyk dominated Chisora in the second half of their fight when the ref stopped Chisora holding Usyk`s arm.
Haye has one thing none of his opponents at heavyweight have possessed. Speed, both hands and feet without mentioning power. But he'd also have a bit of speed Haye didn't face at heavyweight either. I'd like that matxhup for sure. I beleive Usyk to be the superior boxer but would he be able to use that defensive ability the same against someone quicker? Has he ever been in with a fast fighter?
Haye was fast, but it wasn't blazing speed like Floyd or Judah had. I doubt his slight speed advantage over Uskyk would make up for his lesser skills, and more so, his lesser smarts. And smarts is one thing that can often beat speed. Usyk has the smarts.
Haye has in his favour Power Speed Reflexes Creative excuses for losses Usyk has Skill Ring iq Stamina Chin Footwork Heart Yeah comfortable win for Usyk
Not sure I'd say, as others have noted, that it was anything other than a reasonably clear win for Usyk. But Chisora's performance has definitely aged well. Now I'm a fairly big Haye fan, particularly at cruiser, where he was sharp, fast and dangerous. I think at either weight I would still favour Usyk but Haye would be a threat. But I concur with the general feeling among some here that the storm is negated and blows out, and Usyk forces a stoppage later in the fight, perhaps around 10.
What's with all these alt-troll accounts that are typically ten years old and have less than a thousand total messages? Seeing a bunch recently.

Of course he's not in the realm of welterweights speedwise, but as a heavyweight? How many guys could you name faster with pop? It's a short list. And I agree smarts beat speed when you're a guy like Khan lol. But I'd reckon Haye was much better than that guy, hence my curiosity. I think Haye would have not a slight but a significant speed advantage. By that same token Usyk has a technical gap just as big. (I could be underrating Haye a bit here but i was never too impress with his technique.)....But there's also that saying older than both of us: speed kills.
As a Heavyweight, his speed was alright. Nothing to worry about. Hence his average record at HW. Don't really care how many guys are faster with pop. Doesn't really matter in this sense, because,Usyk had the skill and smarts to overcome that. Haye really blew it as a potential top HW IMO. And MANY guys have lost to slower of hand fighters. Nothing new.
Haye went life & death with bums.. ye he KOd Chisora .. power bailed him out.. excellent power & athleticism but flawed & limited in a lot of ways.. Usyk is a level above.
