Seems HBO is interested in the Haye-Fury fight and might do a tripleheader along with Stevenson-Cloud and Chavez-Vera. That would be three fights from three different locations, don't know if HBO's done that before.
This fight will attract a lot of interest from boxing fans around the world. HBO would be wise to pick this up.
Doubtful as Haye has been banned from HBO. Most likely will be an Integrated Sports PPV for the States live in the afternoon. Problem is College Football season will have started and will take away viewers.
Nobody is in Europe either... kicking against a ball is a 100 times as popular as boxing, so that can't be a problem either.
It's ok if it's a throw on for HBO's better fights that night.Haye-Fury does nothing for me either.College football is in full swing so let the Brits enjoy it.It would be on my ignore list otherwise.
Wow . . . I like college football too, but one game does not make a college season. On the other hand, Haye-Fury is a big heavyweight match-up. Hell, I will just record a football game. And where is a link please to HBO supposedly banning Haye?
Exactly. HBO is doing more tripleheaders than ever and it can't be a coincidence that Showtime has done a lot of them this year.
I don't think HBO will pick it up, but wouldn't mind if they did. During this past Sat. nights fights, they displayed their upcoming boxing schedule, and there was no mention of that fight.. It will find a broadcast home for the states though, considering Fury's mouth and antics, and Irish heritage. Certainly doesn't hurt the promotion
