Right, and that's why I'd like to see his source for that number before I start believing it. I'd also like to know what kind of numbers that channel usually gets in that time slot, what the lead in was, and if there was anything big directly after. Those numbers are highly suspicious to me. If I had to guess, I would have estimated that the fight would garner 1/6th of that. I really would like to hear where he's getting those figures.

It looks like the figures might be true. The Daily Mail and this site are reporting a peak of 3 mil and an average of 1.3 mil. What was the undercard? It sounds like they promoted the hell out of this thing on facebook, twitter, snapchat, youtube, and television. I wonder how much money they had to lay out.
