Haye-Harrison weigh in... Haye 15st1, Audley 18st1

Cutting off those last few lbs are the hardest, let alone over ten. Relax.

 

Haye will probably only add 5lbs.
heavyweights dont add as much weight fight night like lighter weights as they dont have to starve up until fight night, and the added food and water wont neccesarily benefit them because the weight limit is unlimited after 200lbs.

Interesting, Id say he came in at his heaviest against Ruiz because he knew he wouldnt need so much speed and maybe more power to get the slow but tough Ruiz outta there ? whereas maybe he thinks speed will be more important againt Harrison,because despite Harrison not being the most athletic he does have pretty quick hands for a HW ?

I must say though, as much as I didnt care much for this fight when announced, Im looking forward to it, i've enjoyed the promotion on Sky and end of the day, aside from a fight with the Klits, no other opponent wouldve created much interest.

England is a little island, it aint the USA, if there is a fight that will create national interest, it needs to made, not for the sake of the fighters, not for the sake of the fans, but for the sport, cause the fights that attract the non boxing fans are the ones that afterwards may turn a few of those non boxing fans into boxing fans

And we need those new fans to replace the long term ones who finally get sick of bad decisions and bad match ups year after year :yep

 

Was not expecting Haye to be that light,I thought against someone Audley`s size he would have been at least 15st 8lb he looked in top shape as ever though .Audley looked good at his weight and I think he has done the right thing by adding a little bit for this fight.Haye could find it hard to hurt Audley at 15st.

Haye's come in at a great weight. Against Ruiz he looked artificially bulked up same as Adamek looks.

People forget that you don't need to be 230/240 in the HW division just cos thats the current trend.

What makes yout think he'll add weight?

 

Well he has to either

a) lose weight
b) add weight
c) stay the same weight

He can't do all 3 or even 2 of the above, so spud took an educated guess at b.
