I heard he was having trouble standing up straight, upon closer examination he was found to be spineless.

Maybe he's taken a back hander?

**** knows really but I think its a definate possibility. Setanta are providing Hayes end of the purse and recently defaulted on a £3 million payment to the SPL. Maybe Haye is unsure whether he's going to get paid for this fight and wants a month or so to see if anyone comes up with a rescue package for Setanta.

    All idle speculation of course!!

It makes sense. I wouldnt fight if I thought there was a chance that I might not get paid. Last weekend Setanta asked SKYSPORTs for a 50million interest free loan, the request was of course turned down. Setantas only hope is that ESPN or the Disney channel bale them out.

Expect the fight to be rescheduled for July or September with the UK rights going to Sky.

It's not as easy to reschedule as you think. This is THE major arena of the region, the biggest of this kind, and building it up for a TV event of this size is a difficult thing. When they need to unmount everything for the next events and then rebuild it a couple of weeks later, you have to pay TWICE for that. Then the TV networks all over the world need to change their programs for the upcoming weeks, get in conflict with other shows airing simultaneous, the arena needs to be free on that weekend to even make it possible to reschedule, it does not occur too late to not collide with the next football season, and, and, and. It's not like rescheduling the garden party for your children.

This is exactly what I expected to hear. A back injury cannot be proven or disproven by doctors, therefore it is a convenient excuse for Haye to back out of the fight. Haye's people are looking for more time to prepare their fighter, as they realize he's not ready for Klitschko.

Good to see him recover, looking forward to him being in better shape and hope it's not serious.

Really, how do you injure your back training for a boxing match? I don't recall ever seeing any load bearing exercises being done by any boxer with only two weeks left before a fight. Mostly it's sparring, and technical work at this point.
