Which is why, you cannot count Harrison out in this one. Harrison is expected to get slaughtered, which means the pressure is on Haye. If Haye was to lose this fight, I dunno how he'd come back from that, Audley has more to gain, and he knows he's gotta leave it all in the ring with a big performance. That kinda fighter is a dangerous fighter. Audley may as well go for it, and Haye cannot afford to slip up. This one could be competative. All jokes aside, Audley is a threat. He has the power, the height, and reach and for that I cannot see Haye trying to storm Harrison, he will more likely be cautious and fight in bursts, like he did with Ruiz. Forget about the fact of Audley being deserving or not of a title shot. The fight is on and although I still make Haye the favourite, Harrison will be dangerous and has a chance, a slim one, but as I say, Haye has it all to lose here, Audley may just surprise us in this one.
I really cant see any sense for haye in this fight The risk/reward ratio is off the scale. Audley is a lot better than his record suggests and i wouldnt be totally shocked if audley wins. Yet if haye wins he gets no respect for it.
That's the problem as a match up I don't mind it, the build up will be entertaining and so will the fight I imagine. But once Haye gets Audley out of the way, so what? he's a man that people expect Haye to beat. If he loses however, I really dunno where Haye goes from there. He can forget about the Klits for starters and many other pay days may go out of the window. I bet there will be a rematch clause put in place.
Don't think of risk/reward in terms of legacy and respect, Haye certainly doesn't see it that way. Haye will earn huge money for an easy fight. And it is an easy fight without a doubt. Harrison will stand there with that wide-eyed rabbit in headlights look on his face and get knocked out inside the first 3 rounds. Audley will bring absolutely nothing to the table in this fight, he just doesn't have the mentality and he will freeze up. Hearing Haye say that Audley doesn't deserve to fight him because he's achieved nothing pissed me right off...it's a ****ing voluntary defence! If you don't think he deserves it don't fight him!
This fight will sell and make decent money. People want to see Audley get knocked out. Simple as that. I think Haye will be a bit cautious though as Audley can punch. Hayes too quick though. Mid round stoppage.
This. Audley just freezes up and looks like a scared animal and leaves it far too late to try and do anything. No way is this going more than 3 rounds. absolute max!
