Vitali is definitely the easier fight for Haye.

My only reservaton in this fight as a neutral (I can't stand either of them) is that Haye is often exhausted after five or six rounds. He's definitely capable of building an early lead while Vitali warms up..... but will he be able to survive down the stretch?

I know Vitali isn't a big puncher...... Briggs has a decent chin but stood in front of Vitali all night and still survived...... but Haye could find himself taken out in the last couple of rounds.

    Thats inconclusive.

Because Solis - was undefeated up until his World title fight - and worked his way to be Mandotary Challenger.

And - while Solis performance crumbled qucikly - he only has lost to the best - which is a Klitschko.

Haye fought a garbage fighter for his World title - so the jury is still out on how he would fare against a Klitschko.

Solis hasn't really shown anything special as a pro. Barrett was his best performance of late..

He clearly is a talent but doesn't take the game serious. Haye does train hard...we can question his drive to fight best but he trains like a true athlete and has done more as a pro although obviously longer in the hurt game then Solis.

Tbh i don't think Solis put any mustard on them shots. More just looking to land on him to win the round.

Superior version of Haye? Pfft get real. Solis is yet another waste of a career already. The only thing he potentially had that was better than Haye was durability and even that crumbled after just 3 minutes last night.

vitali is the easier fight for haye, he has slown down big time, but he has still great accuracy, way more then enough power, great experience, great ring iq and still a very good chin. haye could potshot vitali but would get countered some time and koed. but it's easier against big brother. wladimir is very fast, he looks slow, but he is blessed with great hand and foot speed. he has a wrecking jab and better timing and accuracy then vitali. his chin is ****, but haye won't reach it for sure. and wladimir will ko haye neither with a straight right or a left hook

:lol:Some people are talking like Vitali was getting exposed all night. The fight lasted three minutes,Solis was doing well, and then gets caught and is wobbled by a temple shot.
Reminds me of Ricky Hattons "I was winning the second round by a country mile until the KO" embarrassing remark:lol:
Says how dominant the bros are when Vitali doesnt win 2mins of a fight and people are saying how bad he looks lol.

he's been creaking for a few fights to be honest - getting hit by solis in 2 mins was just another chapter in his downfall.

anyway, re: the point of the thread, its probably one of the least thought out for a while and belongs on the GF:
    • Firstly, Solis wasn't brushed aside. until the injury the fight was looking like it was gonna be a good one. although i would have expected vitali to grind him down later as per the klitchko's copyrighted method.
    • As has been stated, Solis- Haye was in the am's which, apart from being a different game, they both have evolved a lot since then.
    • Solis has put on a load of fat since and is less mobile
    • Haye has got a lot more muscular, and become a more sensible and strategic boxer since his thompson loss, rather than going 'all guns blazing' like he did against solis
    • finally, in terms of fighting a klitschko, haye has far more power than solis, and therefore has more chance of A) getting a klitschko's respect enough to stop them relentlessly stalking forward, and B) winning by KO.
    • think the original post is so off-target it must be one made from emotion rather than the brain - maybe enzo related.
edit: i still dont think haye will beat vlad. but would maybe give it 50-50 will vitali.

Sorry Flint but a lot of what you're saying about Solis being tough is automatically erased by the fact he appeared hurt by a nothing punch from Vitali Klitschko. Shannon Briggs took like 200 shots harder than that so there isn't much demonstrable evidence that the current Solis is tougher than Haye.

Also, if what we're supposed to believe is true and his knee is ****ed and the reason for his demise, surely the fight proves nothing.

Either way this line of thinking isn't too convincing.

Haye is going the same way as Solis, 100%. He doesn't have the size or power to inflict anything like the damage on Solis with a single shot that we saw last night. Haye is going down HARD. And that muppet Booth will be no more.

Haye has self respect and looks after himself, I do not think he would go out like Solis - who does not seem to take his job very seriously.

Where are you getting this Stamina issue from..?

What is making you say this..?

Where the **** are you getting this mythical fact, that David Haye is exhausted after afew rounds..?

David Haye is the most highly and meticulous conditioned heavyweight on the planet, easily.

There is not heavyweight out there, who could of sticked and moved. Against Valuev like David Haye did. Even guys like Chris Bryd and Eddie Chambers have been reduced to ******s, that just stand infront of the Kiltschkos flat footed when they face them.

"There is no heavyweight on the planet who trains like David Haye"

And then we come to the John Ruiz fight, clearly David Haye is not in his best conditions, due to injury's in training camp. But still he is involved in one of the highest paced heavyweight fights of the past few years.

So i want to ask you, where are you getting this stamina issue from..?

Come up with you're own opinions and observation, you ****ing *****. Instead of just repeating what's been brain washed into you're head.

David Haye has no stamina issue's.

Evander Holyfield when you take age, into consideration. Is the best conditioned of all-time, and pound for pound.

But the year is 2011, and no heavyweight on the planet can train, or endure the type of training David Haye puts himself through. Evander Holyfeild is smart, he has never gotten out of shape and has lived like a soldier during War, but at his old age and with some of the injuries and issues he has had.......

He can't train like David Haye..!! There just the facts of life.

David Haye has no stamina issue's.
