Its also completely inaccurate :deal The level of heavyweights that Haye will be fighting his "chin" will be a completely moot point. If the Klits connect, even with a fabled granite chin, you are going down...a 310 Lbs monster like Valuev connects with his weight behind a shot, it doesn't matter what chinnage you carry, you are going down. At this level defensive technique is significantly more important than how good your chin is.

How can you say that his chin is a moot point, it could be the difference between being put down after 1 punch or lasting that little bit longer to put in a shot of his own. I take your point that it is as much about defensive technique but that was the point I was aluding to in my first post "I would prefer if he tightened up now he is looking to progress to the next level" if Haye boxes as open has he has done in the past then because he is against "monsters" he will get caught out

:-( Please read my post....I called those who initially called Hayes chin "glass" idiots, you just took it as received wisdom.

Haye looks terrible when even the smallest glance of a punch connects but he he still finds away to win. Not sure how he will do against the top heavy weights but credit to him on getting this far and into a spot for a world title. Lucky for Haye is that the yanks are all crude clubbers who he will blitz and Vitali is disabled plus Wlad is up for being KTFO on every occaision too. Haye could be a monster or the dream could end kinda like Enzo Maccs did but with his talent I hope he comes out successful.

Next month in Bucharest, Romania. 9th of October 2009. In training as you would expect we need to win to secure the title shot against Alexander.

Can not wait. Hopefully I will be going out to watch it but the hope is more of a dream at the moment. Any chance of it being on tv?

Ajose is a very classy fighter and a great man.

Does Valuev even have the speed to catch Haye? From the fights I have seen he is just a big lumbering giant with no skill or speed.

Anyone who thinks Haye hasn't learned a lesson from his defeat to Carl Thompson is very much mistaken! Haye was known as a playboy, a guy who was more interested in parties than training. However, the defeat helped him realise the dedication & sacrificed required to reach the top!

Haye has knuckled down. He chooses to live in Nothern Cyprus where its quiet! He's married, has a baby son. If he wanted to I'm sure he could live the party life in he chose to move back to London, but why would he?

Haye is a more settled person. I really hope he beats Valuev!

Soon as I see Olu picking, I know what will happen. Olu's a good judge of fights and fighters.
