Sorry, my mistake he was "fighting on the back foot" when he was swinging that tripod :yep It still does not change the fact he fled the scene, the hotel and the country.
I like to think of it more as making good his escape Scarlett Pimpernel style. Del Boy gets stripped searched and probed at Munich airport and David is giving it large in Vegas....only one winner in my eyes :thumbsup
No, no, no, real G's might walk away but they never run away Haye was once a winner, but not anymore for all the success Haye had in boxing (and he had alot to be fair) sadly he will be largely remembered for one or two things... his terrified performance against Wladimir after months of boasts and his little toe. the words of Mr Boente "Chisora showed heart, contrary to you. You showed your toe"...
2 and half prison sentance will last on your record 10yr not 2yr. if you avnt been in any trouble in 10 yr from a 2 and half your convictions are spent
Am I reading this right, people think Haye is now all of sudden a G whatever a G is for having a brawl infront of the world and going to Vegas, just shows him for the arrogant ***** he is. G = Grow Up and act with a bit of common sense.
He's larging it in vegas and a multi millionaire through his skills in, and mostly out, of the ring.... Heavyweight champs tend towards a li'l arrogance. Kinda goes with the territory I think.. Reminds me of the story about George Best, when a waiter delivering champagne to his hotel room saw thousands of £££s of casino winnings and the current Miss World both sitting on the bed, and asked the legendary question: "Mr Best, where did it all go wrong?"
And thats much better isnt it, sounds to me like boxing fans are thugs and quite happy with the whole situation. Classless! :-(
He more than arguably never was a genuine heavyweight champ and he certainly isn't now. He's retired.
