Nobody's going to discuss boring Klitschko fights after Klitschko fought Haye - Unless Wlad went and put on an event spectacle.

They ARE discussing Haye, and by default - HW Boxing

Hayeters. When Haye wanted a fight with Vitali, you said he didn't deserve it and should fight a contender first. When he signs a fight with Dereck Chisora, you say he was ducking Vitali.

Absolutely correct, Sir. Seems the most blind-sighted K-brother fans would rather see Vitali finish off his career in unspectacular fashion against some unknown, untested nobody rather than vs. David Haye.

Both Vitali and Haye are salivating at the money-making opportunity. Now they're just hyping this up, trying to lure in the TV stations.

of course. Vitali himself has said many times "i want 1 more big fight before I retire"

just not sure if it will happen. Haye usually takes 7-8-9 months between fights. so you are talking spring of 2013..... just dont think Vitali will wait...especially if he wins the election in the Ukraine.......but who knows at this point

There's a new link at the Scene" where in it Boente reacts to Haye and Booth again. He says Booth is only telling half the truth, that they did send over a contract, but it had 2 contract clauses Haye had to abide by to get the fight.
    1) That Haye had to get a license and be ranked again, so the WBC would agree to it. Which would require a tune up bout.
2)That the tune up bout happen no later then June 2.

June 2nd being in case Haye loses, gets hurt and needs time to recover from any type of injury. Thus leaving Vitali enough time to find another opponent for the Sept.1 or 8th date. Lastly to help promote the fight.

How was Haye meant to fight before the 2nd of June?
Where would he find the time to train?

IDK. That was Haye's problem. For a man trying to get a title shot he could have figured it out. Also Chisora fought Helenius within 24 days of his last fight, and then went onto fight Vitali 2 months later. It could be done if the will was there.

Of course the Chisora fight is the one with the most interest in it, and probably best opponent he would have gotten, but that fight would have always been there for him. Had he won his tune up fight, and beat Vitali, he then could have had a huge title fight in the UK.

This is the truest post in this thread.

What the ****? Haye wanted a fight and all the Klit fans talked about was how he needed to fight a contender first. He signs to fight with Del Boy and it generates major buzz. Now they claim he ducking Vitali.

    I just don't get it.

So you think its reasonable for Haye to have been given a months notice to train and prepare for tune up fight against a ranked contender when he had not got a license (he would need time to apply and recieve it) and get himself into shape after not fighting for coming up to a year?

David has been saying for months now.."im in shape".."i have been working out"

David could have done it... then the chisora thing happened and he went in that direction.... what is so hard to understand?

Im sure that the fact he gets "the lion's share" in the chisora fight helped make the decision.

How long did it take for him to get a license to fight Chisora?1 day.

But like I said, Chisora took less then a month off after one of his last fights to fight Hellinius; a guy then seen by everybody as a top 5 heavy and one fight away from a title shot.

Klitschko fights are events in Europe, they sell out stadiums. these stadiums have a really tight schedule and are booked most of the time, leaving planning one, pretty tough. So to leave Haye in a fight that most think will be competitive, only about a month or two before a scheduled Vitali return in Sept is even more ridiculous. Haye is on Vitali's(champion) schedule, not Haye's(challenger)

It's really not about champion or challenger when it comes to these two "brothers from another mother"

Haye and Vitali both want to make a fortune, and I for one, intend to donate may fair share towards that cause when the fight gets made.

do you think its reasonable to expect a guy that fights 1 time a year and most of the time less than that to be active and motivated on his own? no...wtf has he been doing for the last year since his pathetic showing against wlad?
