No. Haye is a decent guy. He said that he had to "make myself look like a bit of a tit" to get the fight. He respects WK. But, I promise you, Haye is a league above WK.

If WK wins, he is as good as his fans claim. Haye is very, very talented.

 

Haye's stamina has also improved along the time.

Wladimir still has stamina issues when he's pressured enough, Thompson did a very poor job of pressuring him and still Wladimir ran out of gas BIG TIME late but still had enough power to finish Thompson off since Thompson was out of gas as well. Still if it does go 6 rounds I'll favor Wladimir to have more energy/stamina than Haye who had stamina issues at Cruiser let alone Heavy.

When Wladimir is pressured enough he runs out of gas, Ibragimov did a terrible job of pressuring him in any way that's why he was fresh to the end. Watch the Brock fight, Brock forced Wladimir to throw a lot early and he started to get tired as the fight went, though he still carries serious power regardless of that and requires someone that can afford to take his bombs to land his own.

I was talking about Haye vs Carl Thompson.
Wladimir always had stamins issues,that along with a very shaky chin and his panic attacks make him vulnerabile but the last guys he fought all were just there to survive(Rahman,Thompson,Ibragimov,Austin,Brewster).

Wladimir has no defense, imo, outside of that damn jab he's got. Get a good small man inside a good big man's reach, and you have a major issue. Wladimir has never been good at fighting backwards, and he's never quite proven to me he could slug it out with a good brawler. If Haye can get in there FIRST and stay inside long enough, we're all gonna say 'TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!'

 

Be prepared for Klitschko being a league above Haye.

There is NO department Haye has an real advantage over klitschko, (even speed is quite similar), but a lot where Klitschko has a real advantage over Haye.

I disagree. WK has impressive speed for his height, but Haye has excellent speed full stop. reflexes are with haye, as, I would argue, is his combination punching. punching power is probably with WK, but I don't think there is much of a difference. Haye and WK both have pedigree as dominant champions with very, very good technique.

Both have poor chins at elite level, but I believe both have massively improved their stamina.

If WK proves to be a league above Haye, I would not change my opinion of how good Haye is. It would merely mean that I underappreciated WK.

For natural ability, this is probably the best fight in the upper divisions right now.

but I believe Haye will follow the Sanders blueprint, jump on WK and stop him early. If WK weathers the storm, I still believe that Haye will win, but it wiill be a much, much closer fight.

Ypu're quite right. If WK had no defence, he would have been stopped again by now. His jab is his main defence, and it works extremely well.
