its not about who they pick they have already given khan the earlier dates and cant take it back now.

After 2 years of messing around with contracts for the fight Haye has left only a small window to get the fight done and acts like its everyone elses fault, if he really wanted the fight then just don't retire, he talks like its out of his control and he literally can't fight after his birthday.

 

Khan isn't a fraud though.

Regardless of your issues with him, he's faced Kotelnik, Malignaggi and Maidana in three of his last four fights.

That pisses all over Haye's career at heavyweight - old Barrett, old Valuev (who lost to Holyfield), shot Ruiz, journeyman/bum Fraudley.

They're trying to build Khan into a PPV star..... let's face it his fights are usually entertaining because of the chin factor. Haye's fights have been boring lately, not a single punch landed in a round against Harrison for example.

It's obvious that they (Sky) were pissed with him because of the Harrison fight..... and with all this BS about retiring this year they've decided Khan is the better option with the potentially big fights that lay ahead, plus the undercards will be better on his shows too.

Sky are also looking to get Carl Froch on their channel too, all his fights are generally better than Haye's.

Haye (and his fans - all three of them ) need to realise that they can't just serve up any old crap and expect Sky to put it on PPV, or drop an already agreed date with somebody else just to accomodate his fight with Wlad.

Which he probably didn't want anyway.

 

The fact seems to be that Wlad would sign the current contract to fight Haye in 2.7 but Haye would not. These are the facts.

The reasons for Haye not to fight Wlad are that the fight won't be possible for Haye because Wlad is fighting Chisora prior to the fight.

Why this Chisora fight 9 weeks before the fight is the deal-breaker for Haye is uncertain, but the fact is that Wlad would (once again) be willing to fight Haye and Haye just isn't willing to do it.

 

Other than inactivity (which I don't particularly agree with) I don't see any reason for him to take Chisora when there is a possible Haye fight on the horizon. It just doesn't make sense.

Nobody wants to watch WALDO - Chisora, everyone wants WALDO - Haye.

It's a nonsensical stumbling block, but I guess WALDO has his reasons.

I do not understand why a fighter of Wlad class need a keep you busy fight ONLY 8 WEEKS BEFORE?

I personally think when Haye has calmed down the fight will still go ahead July 2nd well i bloody hope so any way.

 

Everyone cares about the american scene.
