You're never in your life going to win an argument regarding Americans travelling abroad to fight compared to their European counterparts.

Fact is, Americans are **** scared of leaving America.

so what, hes fighting in the lions den still, an american fighting somewhere else in america is still home turf, you have **** fans anyway so its not like its going to be hostile, an englishmen going to france or germany is nothing like an american going from NY to LV. It becomes more than two fighters it becomes two nations.

Haye has only been a pro 18 months longer...he had won a title in a foreign country in that time

I think a few things are in play here:

One is Haye still owes Sauerland some options and he is waiting for those to expire before he fights a Klitschko so his pot will be bigger.

Two I think he and Booth are just really bad businessmen and don't know what they are doing several non biased people in the Boxing media have made comments about this

Three I think he is waiting for Vitali Klitschko to get "old" when he fights him

Four I don't think he even wants a Wlad fight

Five I expect him to fight Chagaev next that will get rid of a Mandatory and end the options Sauerland has which Haye fans claimed were never there to begin with. :deal

I am hoping by Summer of 2011 there will be a Haye/Klitschko fight signed but as inactive as Haye is I am not sure it could happen until the end of 2011.

    Thoughts? :think

There is no ppv for boxing in Germany you ininformed moron. The Klitschkos have been seeling out stadiums for 12 years, haye wasn't even able to sell out Chelsea once.

When it was just Haye and Booth in control, there was never an issue with opposition. Never. Haye fought the best in the cruiserweight division and gave every fan what they wanted. As soon as he stepped up and was pretty much forced into a Valuev fight, as the Klitschko's wouldn't offer a fair contract, other promoters got involved. King and Sauerland just want money and GBP aren't much better as they were the ones who were constantly mentioning the Harrison fight.

The issue with Haye recently has been too many promoters. As soon as Sauerland have no options and GBP stick to promoting him in America, the best fights will be made.

Bulshitt remember the Barrett fiasco and how many boxers who he was in "negotiations" with said that they were very unprofessional and hard to deal with.

American boxing fans are insitutionally racist.

Manny don't fight certain guys for various reasons that they accept

If a loud black guy doesn't fight someone, he's just abused and labelled a "chicken"

Americans don't like loud, overtly black people

Americans fight only in America as they get home town decisions.

    Just like Germans in Germany

As I said earlier, Americans accept white guys, or Mexican guys, or Asian guys taking certain fights, as boxing is a complicated sport.

If it's a loud black guy, they suddenly turn into redneck mode.

Damn, flashy, black guy, running his mouth.

Answer me this - Vitali fought Danny Williams at the PEAK of his career. Who Audley HArrison had already DESTROYED.

What did you think of that fight? Were you ranting at Vitali?

Much of the anger is against haye and what he is. Not what he's doing

Chisora is a worse opponent than Harrison

Americans like Vitali and Wlad as they work hard, keep their mouths shut, and just do their job.

America has always had a problem with overt black culture. Black guys acting like black guys.

Wlad's facing Derek Chisora for god's sake. Vitali faced Danny Williams at the peak of his career.

Haye made twice as much against Valuev than Wlad has ever made for a fight.

He made something like $7 million

Nothing gets blue collar America going than a loud black guy running his mouth.

See Ali, Roy Jones, Mayweather etc etc

    Wlad vs Chambers:

    tv (rtl) 3m Euro
    tv (international) 1m Euro
    tickets and ads 2m Euro

    -> 6m Euro -> 8.3m Dollar

    article bild *click*

btw: according to this article *click* Haye made estimated 2m pounds (3.2m Dollar) vs Valuev but might earn as much as 20m pounds in his next fight. Does anybody know the Ruiz numbers?
