Well he's only fought 4 (counting Bonin as Eastern European) as a professional, so it's not saying a lot really.

Also Haye is going back to his amatuer days, has a top british amateur you have to fight many eastern europeans. So he makes a fair point.
Wlad is a different proposition all together though.

To be fair, if someone said "I will never lose to an African" when fighting a black fighter, there would be uproar, and you ALL know it. Anyone who says otherwise is full of ****.

Not at all. He is stating a fact he hasn't lost to an eastern european, which is a pefectly acceptable term.
I ain't a nuthugger but just stating that it is not racial in anyway.
If it was then why has no one mentioned it other than on a thread in the general.
Eastern Europeans, Africans, Asians, Americans. What's the ****ing problem with that.
The only people saying it's a problem are the ones that want it to be.

I agree there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm just pointing out that there would be uproar. There's no good reason for it, but there would be. The amount of anger there has been about perceived racial slights on here due to non-descript comments has been ridiculous in the past.

    I sorta get ya.
An example is my brother had a Ghanian in the semi's of an international tournament last year. He said to the press and the people close to him, "i have got one of those tough africans tomorrow".
Nothing was thought of it has he was just generalising. Just like Haye!
My brother is mixed-race and i am white. For the record.

This is not racist at all he didnt mention race at all, and when he was saying it he didnt mean it like that all, he just meant they are eastern europeon and he is british.

And to the people who say there would be a uproar if it was a europeon saying i haven't lost to a african fighter, it depends on the way its said and the context and situation.

Are haters that mind****ed that they twist everything a boxer says.

Do you get a lot of other races in that geographic region other than caucasians?

Oh look, a boxer is talking sh*t before the biggest fight of his life. I'm SO surprised

Seriously, people, the hate train is getting boring, and I'm getting off. He took the damn fight, which so many of you said he never would. Now you found another reason to hate on him?

I hope he does well against Wlad (hopefully even a KD) because that way, even if he doesn't win, he will show that he is a legitimate contender.

Oh, and the best Pizza face impersonation I've ever seen? Was this:

Would you like extra cheese with that pizza? :good
