Haye: "I think Me vs Wlad will be Mid 2009 in Vegas"

Dude this is some seriously old ****, Wlad has since filled his underwear with the brown stuff and called on Vitalia.

Wlad one weekend Vitalia the next, the Quitschko sisters both retired within a week.

 

It would be nice if Haye did slightly more than a sloppy win over and over the hill Monte Barrett. Haye acted like he was going to make a huge splash in the division against a top fighter. Barrett hasn't been anywhere near a top fighter in several years. Even then... he was just a fringe 10-15 fighter. Wladimir is out there collecting belts and beating dangerous fighters, undefeated challengers ect... Haye needs to stop jawing and prove his worth in the division.

 

He stopped Barrett quicker than the Klitschko sister.

Haye has the potential to be a superstar in America...

His fighting style, charisma, and looks would have great appeal. I'm a huge fan...He's dangerous and he's vulnerable; that's honestly the perfect combination I could ask for when I watch a fighter.

After rewatching the Haye-Barrett fight, I was less impressed with Haye than I originally had been. I don't think Wlad would have much trouble with him. Of course, you'd think Haye would continue to improve as a HW.

However, although they haven't been recent problems, you always have to be aware of Wlad's chin/nerve issues. Haye is fast and if Wald reacted poorly to getting hit (which he has shown the ability to do), Wlad could have some major concerns during the fight.
