Haye "I want Vitali first""

I don't buy into the Haye hype but I do give him big props for wanting to fight the best in the Heavyweight Division so soon. Either fight would be a big money fight for sure.

Haye may have a suspect chin as well but, Wlad fights scared, he'd get starched.....

 

Haye is really great addition to heavyweight division.

That said I would have preferred him to go Wlad first and getting a mega fight against Vitali later part of 2009.

 

What's the rush?

He should make a few more million with a couple more HW fights first, before taking such a big risk.
Not saying he can't beat Vitali... but it is a bit of a long shot.
And if he loses, the big hype is over.

Maybe he's worried Vitali will lose to somebody else or retire again before he gets his shot at glory.

 

If it wasn't illegal to repeatedly punch your opponent in the knee, that might be a tactic...

 

BS. WK is a superior fighter. You watch with hater goggles on. WK is the best HW in the world, hands down.

I think that out of the two Klits, this is teh smart move seeing as Vitali has 4 years out of the ring and then one fight against a non moving, virtually non punching Peter (plus no one knoes how Vitaly's injuries will hold up in a fast paced action fight), i think Haye is very smart taking big bro first to be honest.

 

i'm not a hater, i like Wlad actually, but that doesn't justify him winning the fight....

and he's not the best HW in the world (atleast not head to head), Vitali would starch him too...

But I also think Wlad would be his best chance, and even that would be a very slim chance.

 

Was Haye drunk when he said this? I can see his logic, I guess, since Vitali is the rustier and slower of the two Klitschkos. But Vitali is also the mean sadistic brother who will deliberately avoid knocking out Haye and will instead seek to make him cry in the ring. Also, Haye is out of his mind if he thinks he has the power to ko Vitali. If Lennox Lewis, probably the hardest puncher in history, couldn't even knock him down, Haye has no chance of knocking out.

 

Vitali is gonna brutalise him.He's better off going for Wlad.

I do not agree. His brother had no problem with Sam Peter yet the frail Wlad was on deck 3 times and hurt bad one time late in the fight. Haye has a real good chance of starching Wlad and yes Wald fights scared. I have my doubts Steward will put Wlad up against Haye. Too dangerous. Vitalli on the other hand will end up fighting David Haye for a good paycheck. Haye is going to get knocked out.

 

absolutely. in fact, the brits have shown balls of steel as of late.

some considerations; who had the fastest hands that vitali ever beat? would you say LL was much slower than Haye? did monte barrett ever hurt Haye in that fight (not really, but he did catch him a couple of times)? does vitali posess his prior speed and defense (we cannot tell from the peter fight for obvious reasons)? how much can haye's chin take? what did vitali weigh in against peter, 256 or something? Haye? 215?

i think haye should hold off, fight a top 10 HW, and keep going up.
