Who the hell does he think he is? He is unproven at HW and his Chin is really going to get tested now.... Lennox ? Tyson? Bowe? If he got into the ring with these guys he would have ended up brain dead

It doesn't matter if he is unproven. He wasn't saying he would beat them. He's just saying that he would call them out.

Whether you like him or not you can't take away the fact that Haye has always looked for the biggest challenges out there.

why are people getting mad because he likes to fight the best people in the world?...would you prefer him to be a cherrypicker like Mayweather?, it's great that he thinks like that...thats the mindset of a true champion

All the guys Haye mentioned would decapitate him.

Wladimir and Vitali will also murder him

Vitali - yes. Wladimir, you can never be sure with that guy. Haye might just have the combination of speed and power that is his kryptonite.

Yes but much less skilled and much slower fighters have had alot of success against Haye. Mormeck and Thompson spring to mind and Fragmantelli (spellings wrong).

For all the praise about Hayes speed and defence he does get hit, and if Wlad can hit him he will get hurt.

Yup, I also believe Wlad would be a strong favorite in the fight. Still it would be interesting to see, if Haye cought him with something significant early Wlad would be in serious trouble.

They are getting mad because of all the crap he has been speaking lately, although this was a perfectly reasonable thing to say.

He has done a good job of hyping himself up, there is an army of huggers and haters out there, so he has the profile. Now its time to deliver.

    THANK YOU.

Jesus, every ****ing thing he says is now turned into being "trash talk". He has done some of that to promote himself and so that Americans know who he is and want to see him fight, even if it is only to see him get KO'd.
Whatever anyone says, his self promotion has worked, he is talked about, hated by many and known. He will (if he beats Barrett) get his shot at a top Heavy far quicker than if he had kept his mouth shut.

But now every single quote is twisted or taken out of context.

His point is that he wants to aim at the top guys, regardless of who they are, and reading between the lines suggests that a lot of what's been said is merely to whip up hype, attention, and trying to force those guys into fights with him.

As Chris Eubank once said, "people pay to see the bad guy". And Haye isn't really even being that bad, just making a lot of noise, stirring things up and seeing who he can attract.

Maybe so, but it's not the only way, it is still their decision to choose that path because it is NOT out of the necessity for generating interest/money. There are lots of people who earn a lot of money without playing the "bad guy", most notably Wlad himself. If you are going down that road it just a indirect way of admitting that you have nothing else to offer to attract people's interest.
