If hopkins or Gatti and many others over that tiem span can get 500k or whaever number of PPV s in a fight and earn 5 mil, then they are an attraction

Of course it would, they're PPV fighters no matter who they fight. The reason fighters chase a fight against Mayweather or Pacquaio is because they're PPV fighters and that gives them a % of the buys and a career high pay day.

Name the last time Pacquiao or Mayweather fought on regular HBO. They haven't for years, and in that time they've fought fighters like Clottey, Ortiz, Margarito, Bradley. Mayweather is probably going to fight Guerrero next and that will be HBO too.

Bottom line is Hatton has only appeared on HBO PPV twice, when he was fighting against their PPV fighters - Pacquiao and Mayweather. Mayweather underestimated the PPV audience in England and foolishly didn't negotiate himself a slice of the Sky PPV and lost out on £millions. This is what made Hatton so attractive to Pacquiao - he was a PPV fighter in his own country and therefore bought a huge chunk of his own money to the table.

But Gatti and Hopkins are basically fighting at home in America. When Haye, Hatton, Khan and Calzaghe fight at home they too have been on PPV in their own country.

Hatton was able to fight on PPV in the US because there were HBO PPV fighters in his division for him to fight.

Wladimir fought so cautiously during that fight. He would not get close to Haye at all because he knew what would happen. Not sure which round it was, but Haye even caught him with a shot and he held onto Haye like a frightened baby and wouldn't let go. This is a natural cruiserweight fighter coming up to Heavyweight, but was still able to stun Wlad with a single shot. I blame Wladimir for making the fight boring, not Haye. Wlad makes every fight boring! Guarantee his brother will be the same cautious fighter if him and Haye eventually fight. How can a fighter who is much bigger in reach and height be scared to exchange with someone smaller than themselves?

 

Both fought scared, Haye you have to understand is going to have to move and box picking his shots, Wlad did not fight the way I expected him to I expected Wlad to fight like he did against Wach.

However just coming forward won Wlad the fight if this were an amateur fight it would have been ruled a draw neither guy deserved to win that night and thats the ****ing truth.

Klitschko fans trying to turn this fight into a dominate performance from wlad is a joke he barely touched Haye and Haye barely touched him
