Ahye really should go away if he ain't gonna fight but Vitali should also be a man of his word and make a decision.

Erm, no, that's not what I said at all. And why are you saying 'Klitschkos'? They're two entirely different people and I'm talking about Vitali. To answer your question, by my logic you can't say 'this fighter doesn't deserve a fight because he hasn't done anything or beat anyone' when the exact same can be said of the majority of his recent opponents.

Yes, Briggs was a WBO titlist and linear champion of the world . . . once upon a time. When Vitali met him he was a shot old man with asthma. Who did he beat in the run up to the fight a shot at Vitali then? Losing the WBO title in his first defence to Ibragimov? Between losing his title and fighting Vitali, Briggs fought 4 no name opponents with a 40+ loses between them. One of these was even declared an NC because Shannon failed a drugs test. So, I guess it's clearly not about what you've done recently and you're just going off things fighters achieved in the past. Well in that case Haye was a WBA HW titlist and undisputed CW champion of the world.

Who did Manuel Charrrrr beat to earn a shot at the 'title'? What had he achieved?

What did Chisora achieve in his 15 previous fights to win a shot at the title? Who did he beat? Sam Sexton? Losing to Tyson Fury? Losing to one handed Helenius?

What did Sosnowski do that was so special that made him so deserving of a shot at Vitali that Haye hasn't surpassed?

What did Adamek do that's any different to Haye? Former CW champ, nothing special on the HW resume, except he didn't hold a title at HW.

Seems to me that Vitali's previous opponents haven't done all that much to get a shot at his paper title, but you suddenly want to make out that Haye doesn't meet some high qualification criteria that clearly doesn't exist. Why not just say 'I don't want to see this fight because I don't like David Haye' instead of trying to make out it's something to do with not deserving the shot?

In most cases you would have a point if not for the fact that when it comes to Haye we have all been there and done that.

Everyone outside of your fantasy World will always remember how he performed against Wlad and Valuev....thus the **** off already attitude towards Haye.

Right . . . . so you're genuinely going to try completely ignoring the points I've challenged you on and instead refer to a fighter who retired nearly 10 years ago and has absolutely nothing to do with this conversation?

Thanks for inadvertently admitting you're talking ****.

And that's legitimate opinion and each person's prerogative.

Claiming there is suddenly some rigorous selection process to get a fight with Vitali, however, is not.

He brought up a legitimate point. All of Vitali's opponents are fighting the oldest, most uninterested, fattest version of Vitali ever. :deal

It matters. Vitali is free to retire at any time now and it has been that way since he turned 38. Brit logic and all.:rofl:patsch

Well done on jumping in and completely missing the point Rico.

Makes a change from your usual routine of being so bored you come online and try to bait British posters into giving you some attention. Oh, wait . . .

And he will offer no rematches. Not to Chisora. Not to Charr. Not to Adamek. Nobody. It is his right to do so.

    CHEF, come on now.

The EXACT same thing can be said of Vitali and Haye. We're not idiots, we know why Vitali couldn't stop calling Haye out even after he lost to Wlad, and it had nothing to do with anger/revenge/honour.

Vitali saw how much Wlad got from his 50% of the UK PPV money and he wanted a slice of the same pie.

    That's a limerick.

David Haye was a business man from England.
He claimed he would 'rescue' the HW division.
Once when he face a true HW opponent,
He ended up the subject of much derision.

He claimed his little toe hurt like the dickens.
Maybe that kept him from engaging like a man?
The more obvious reason isn't hard to discern.
He wasn't a man at all just a ham.

    OK. It's late....... groan....
