X2. I had someone ask me if he was still good enough to fight at British title level and I had to answer I don't know. Obviously nobody would pick him to beat current belt holder AJ but would people pick him over the likes of Hughie Fury or Whyte? I reckon certain individuals would even give Cornish a go at him these days.
Let Briggs fight on the undercars against someone like Cornish. Assuming he knocks him out and Haye wins his bout then let Briggs fight Haye in July or August.
If. Briggs still has that real good looking girlfriend /wife, that's why he's fighting into his mid 40s...,,,for money to keep her happy She looks very high maintenance If this fight were to happen David haye would beat Briggs quite easily But Briggs would get a big payday which is obviously his goal, win or lose if all about cashing in while he somewhat still can.....before he is ridiculously old and forgotten
Haye I think has to fight a negative fight and it wouldn't be good PR to have to take an old fighter into the later rounds to dispatch him or go to the decision. That's why old tough fighters are avoided. It's lose/lose unless the old fighter is bombed out.
