It was pretty stupid to expect a top 10. Haye can talk all he wants, and he probably wanted to, but who the hell is gonna fight him?

This isn't the worst matchup, if Barret turns up in shape

 

Give the guy a break, Barrett is a good first fight at heavy.

 

Hypejob Haye is full of ****...He tried bullshitting us saying he was gonna fight 2 top 10 guys before a showdown with Wlad.....He lied.....Barrett is a shot 37 year old and has taken a lot of brutal beatings in his career.

With that being said, Barrett has a decent chance at upsetting Haye.....Haye has a glass chin and shitty defence(Just like Tye Fields)...Barrett can take advantage of Haye's left hand being too low and land one of his hard counter right hands putting Haye in big trouble...I wouldnt be surprised at all if Barrett pulled off the upset and KO'd hypejob Haye.

 

I'd prefer the Rahman-Toney winner, but hey, Barrett is a very decent HW and showed you that on Saturday!

Haye can't force people to fight him, do you really think guys like Povetkin wanna fight a guy like Haye who has no belt?

He has to fight someone whos willing to fight him, Haye has very little upside and alot of downside to any heavyweight who has alot to lose.

 

I'd rather he fight Barett than stay inactive.

100% grade a china Wlad, Haye has never been knocked out, he was stopped on his feet, can you say the same for your boy?

I was also dissapointed at first when I heard about Barrett, but if you take into account that most of the champs have already other fights scheduled (sometimes more than one, like Wlad) it doesn't seem that bad.

If you look closer at boxrec top20 a lot of other fighters are also unavailable one way or another. Some are supposed to fight each other (Virchis-Gomez), or someone else (Rahman-Toney), and some are only technically active (Brewster, Golota). Barrett is not really worse than what is left of it.

 

Haye does have a glass chin you moron....He has been dropped, hurt badly and knocked out by blown up super middleweight bums.

Wlad has only been hurt by big,strong hard punching heavyweights.

 

Yawn, Wlad has been counted out 3 times, Haye hasn't been counted out at all.

Wlad has been knocked out by poor heavyweights and now he fights scared, hes scared to get hit, its pathetic, when Haye fights Wlad, Wlad will be running and backing off.
