Wlad's resume is 100 times better than Hypejob Haye's.....You cant deny it.

    Peter
    Brewster
    Byrd Twice
    Ibragimov
    Mercer
    McCline
    Brock
    Barrett
    Williamson
    etc.

You can add Thompson, Povetkin and Haye to that list as well.

Who has Haye beat??....Just cruiserweight bums

    Macca the bum
    That French bum Mormeck

This is a decent first fight. He has to adjust to fighting heavyweights and should have a few fights against guys out of the top ten to adjust. Like previous posters have already said as well, almost all of the top guys are busy now anyway as well. Going straight to an elite guy isn't smart.

That list for Wlad is rubbish, it shows the poor competition he has faced and hes still managed to lose 3 times.

name a "top 10" in the hw division. barrett ain't very far out of any group of 10 someone can come up with. barret other than that fluke loss to couser (which he avenged) has shown he can hang with (and beat some) top fighters. not a bad fight at all for haye and barrett could win. rahman or maskaev are no better, so who else could he fight? all that said, i hope haye loses.

Why not? Besides Klitschko the top 10 are terrible.

Good that he's going to be fighting someone with at least some credentials, I'll be closely watching who he fights at HW leading up to a title fight. I wish he'd rematch Carl Thompson though and avenge that loss.

    :-(

Brewster he is 1-1 with :hey

Byrd was never great shakes at hw ffs :patsch

That was not merciless ray mercer in that fight he was so shot, like ali when he fought holmes :deal

    Mccline real class:lol:

You claim Barrett but laugh when haye chooses him for his 2nd fight at hw

I wont get started on williamson :bart

Peter was a good win but he was **** scared same with ibragimov, Brock was overhyped and was always an easy fight.

Notice though i don't call any of em bums have some respect :deal

Im not saying Haye will beat Wlad but Mormeck is pound for pound better than everyone on that list. I would also rate Macca higher than some on the list.

By saying Mormeck is a bum you either don't know much about boxing or you are letting your hatred of Haye and love of Wlad get in the way of making an objective decision.

What top 10 guy is actually available for a fight? Ibragamov is the only one I can think of, and last I heard, his handlers thought he might retire.

Barrett makes some measure of sense. The biggest questions surrounding Haye are with his chin, and Barrett just exposed another guy with a glass chin. Some rounds with Barrett might help answer the questions, for some.

Not a bad fight. Peter is hooked up with a few options, Wladimir is scheduled to fight, Chagaev injured, Valuev is set to fight soon, Golota is rumored to be fighting someone as well. Who else is there?

Exactly, when the deal with setanta was announced they clearly stated he will be fighting a top 10 HW. As some people have pointed out a lot of top 10 guys are busy so it could be difficult to find a opponent. It will be interesting to see what Haye/Setanta/GBP say if they can't find a top 10 HW. The scene site are the ones who reported this, they claim GBP have held talks with Barrett's promoter.

:lol::lol::lol: Today's Barrett is 37 years old with 6 losses (3 by KO), the Barrett that Klitschko fought was 29 with just 1 loss by split decision. Barrett had never been down before the fight against Klitschko. Wlad knocked him down 5 times. See the difference between these two Barretts?

As for Haye's fight against Barrett, I'd love to see it. I wonder if Haye could take the punch that Barrett landed on Tye Fields. My guess is he couldn't.
