Haye is as good a promoter as he is a boxer it seems.

I agree with that. The much smaller man had an off night against an ATG defensive jab-grab world champion and lost on points in a bit of a stinker. Haye was obviously playing cat and mouse and looking for the bomb. It never came and it was a bad night and a clear points loss.

I think it's been taken out of anything remotely like proper perspective. He actively chased down the best heavyweight, forcing a fight. So shoot the fella.

Yeah but what about all the people he has bailed on?

Fury twice, Wach, Vitali etc, I am a Haye fan but he doesn't deserve this fight.

I don't get the "one off night" thing.

He did the exact same thing against his #2 opponent Valuev, and was lucky not to get a draw or worse. Because everyone was pretty damn sure you wouldn't get away with that in your opponent's backyard.
My idea is that some people just want to get fooled by Haye.

Agreed he tried the same gameplan for an opponent that was 10 times better than the robot Valuev lol

AshishWarrior has finally met his match in the crippled, palsied form of Primal Pledge. Ashish - enjoy your ban!

Haye will end up fighting another"undefeated" Euro trash boxer who wouldn't know a left hook from left field.Same old-same old story.

It wasn't an off night he was shown to be a few levels below Wlad.

So, he was a few levels below Wlad. Why not. Still an excellent fighter who is only ever one right hand away from taking someone out.

I'm no Haye uber-fan, but the cynicism about him borders on being special needs.

Haye has always been best bang for buck. Its why he fought Harrison.. Good pay day 0 threat.

For me he needs a decent name next up. His power still looks decent - but I also thought he looked slow - how slow we wont know until he goes in with someone semi decent. Against Browse you would favour the Haye that beat Valuev or Chisora...But the Di Mori fight tells us nothing. He's entertaining so I want to see him fight again soon but he does a little too much talking and not enough boxing for me at the min.
