haye is obviously going down the sky route now but after offering to the bbc for less money as a way of getting himself on the tv to a much more available audience, now if this is what haye wanted will he want himself to go on SBO? has haye got any say in the matter? your thoughts?

haye valuez ppv or sky sports 1??

It's on Sky Box Office mate, they've said that on Sky Sports News already this morning.

He is in the studio at 11.30 this morning, they've been hyping the fight on SSN a fair bit this morning, playing Valuev up as the unstoppable monster type.

    Aint that the truth.

The only silver lining i can think of it being on SBO is that the Sky Hype machine will go into overdrive and at least the casual fan will actually know there is a heavyweight title fight taking place.

By November the casual fan will think Valuev is the new Ivan Drago and this fight is a real life Rocky 4!

I sort of agree, but I must admit I would defo pay just on the off chance of seeing a 7'2" man KO'ed...would he go straight down, or drop in stages? A bit of a freak show to be honest.

Sky are having a laugh if they throw anymore box office fights in between this.

:lol: some of the images going through my head are quite hilarious, and if he isn't knocked down while he's in the centre of the ring then i fear for the audience and what might happen to the ropes and the ring

Yep. Their coverage is so condescending it's untrue. That said, they have to sell it to the casuals as well. I'm guessing that since Khan's deal has ended, Haye is SBO's new cashcow:think:blood.

I know, its intriguing...if he gets blasted off the ropes his centre of gravity will dictate that he will flip over the top rope and probably kill spectators in the first few rows. How the **** does a 320lbs man actually fall over? :huh Just think, if Valuev gets KO'ed it will be the first time that anyone has actually seen the top of his head (other than from space)...i'm defo paying for this :bbb

It would be reminscant of a tree being felled. Im not sure if the canvas could take it.
