Wlad had to fight his mandatory, Haye not. The IBF give Wlad some time to negotiate with Haye but what time will Haye need? Wlad fought in March and after this fight the negotiations start so why did Haye not sign the contract. 50:50 is more than Haye deserves. Now he begins with " i want Vitali". Haye just steel the time of The Champion like he did in 2009. Long weeks of negotiations. One step for, two back. And than on short notice he pulls out and Chagaev steps in. If Chagaev did not fight Wlad, the whole 2009 was a waste of time for Wlad.

    So the same **** again.

Wlad moves on to fight his mandatory and Haye begins "i want the fight with one of the Klitschkos." Every one with brain, can see the **** Haye is doing.

Haye and Wlad were negotiating before and after the cut off date, yet the Povetkin fight was signed somewhere in between that. If Wlad wasn't able to fight AFTER the given cut off date, why would be still negotiate? He wouldn't. So to then sign for another fight doesn't seem right.

I'm not accusing Wlad of anything. I just see the **** Haye gets for signing to fight Valuev when Wlad has done the exact same here. The double standards are a joke.

Like I said before, just wait. Haye won't be fighting Harrison and when he was being criticized for that, I said "wait" then too. He may still fight a Klitschko in his next bout and, if he doesn't, it's because negotiations between both camps have fallen apart. There's no ducking.

First off, Haye was negotiating with Harrison. That's a fact. Booth has stated as much in a number of interviews. Also, the only reason that Haye didn't take the fight is because boxing fans and writers all over the wold are starting to call him a coward. In another recent interview, Haye admitted tha he visits boxing sites frequently and that he was astonished when he saw a derogatory article that claimed that he and Audley had already set a date.

Haye is negotiating with K2 to fight either Klitschko brother at some point in the future. By "negotiating" he is referring to an open line of communication towards finalizing a fight at some indeterminate date. It's a status of negotiations that can continue indefinitely ...

Absolutely. The Haye camp continues to claim that they are "negotiating" and that the Klitschko fights are a priority. While the Klitschko camp maintains that there have been no formal negotiations with the Haye camp. Who's telling the truth? According the the Haye camp they were "negotiating with both Harrison and the Klitschkos simultaneously. Who knows what's true.

Chagaev was the man in the WBA and never lost the title in the ring. We all know that.

Wlad beat Chagaev like he owned him, so underneath the formalities, Wlad already is the man in the WBA.

Shame he has to go through the nonsense and keep chasing Haye in order to get the physical belt from him, seeing as how he already won it.

Anyway, maybe Haye will beat someone and gain confidence and accept the unification fight wtih one of the brothers sometime next year. As it is now, he's laughable with these nonsensical, perfectly timed statements.

People put too much emphasis on being a paper champ.

    bute never beat calzaghe
alexander never beat bradley or paulie
    cunningham never beat adamek
    pascal never beat dawson
    berto never beat floyd
hell rjj never beat the tiger

    the list is endless.

aint hayes fault that chagaev got stripped

    Fully agree.

But all this hoopla to get Haye in the ring is to get a belt from him that Wlad already, by rights, has won. :good

And the fact haye is seen as his best possible opponent(personally i think solis is the toughest matchup for wlad)

and he also had a top of k2 beheaded so they hate him and would love to kick the **** outta him

for the last time. haye had a cut off date... the IBF had wlad deal with povetkin but allowed the talks with Haye to continue longer as long as Wlad dealt with Povetkin on the "cut off date" as UNIFICATION has priority. when booth said we are fighting harrison, wlad had the deal with povetkin DONE.. all that is left is purse bid

Haye dealing with Vitali then valuev is different. neither was a mand fight that the organization REQUIRED haye to talk to or lose the belt

so Wlad and his manager are lying to me about it? I think I will believe them instead of you

Wlad was told Haye was fighting Harrison cause that what wlad told me about Haye if that fight actually happens may be another story
