I have been asking this question dozens of times here on the board and the Haye defenders refused to answer. The simple fact is that if Haye wanted to fight either Wlad or Vitali so badly and it was "just" a matter of (financial) terms then he could send K2 an offer that is good enough for Haye to accept and see what the Klits say.

I have heard nowhere that Haye and his team ever came forward with a list of demands that are good enough for them to accept. All I hear is how terrible offers they keep receiving from the Klits.

Could it be that the only side that is pushing and trying to make this work is actually K2?

You don't know anything. You know whatever trash Wlad tells you. Your source is not reliable.

Its good to read he doesn't want a Harrison fight, but it seems like he was testing public reaction before making a decision. If he could get away with it maybe he would have taken that fight

Nevertheless, Haye has clearly been stalling in the hopes the Klitschkos will tie themselves up with other opponents and he can continue claiming he wants to fight them.

That's really where it falls apart, isn't it?
If Haye doesn't like the contract he's welcome to have his promotional company make a better offer then Wlad is able to put together, make an offer that has both fighters making more money to seal the deal, but they can't/won't or afraid to take the financial risk.

If Haye can't put anything together he either accepts Wlad's offer or moves on with his tail between his legs. The sad truth is though that Haye can make more money being Wlad's opponent for the night then he can on his own as the headliner.

In the end, It's Haye that suffers if he doesn't make this fight. Haye is still young enough and marketable enough to become a boxing superstar with a win over either Klitschkos. For the brothers, that ship has sailed. They are huge in Europe but never caught on in America. THat won't change with a win of Haye. Haye needs this fight far more than they do.

What you mean had every intention fighting Harrison?

Haye has clearly stated, that he had no intentions to fight against Harrison.

Are you implying that fighter himself is not a reliable source? :patsch:patsch :oops:

Boothe>Wlad>CHEF. Haye read the press and MAY still back off from that fight, but it isn't a given.
