It must be one of those psychological tricks... they're not allowed to say what the terms are but they can say what the terms are not!
So like the contract is actually 50/50 with no options, but they can't come out and say that, so they say it's NOT 50/50 with no options. :nut

Why is everyone claiming this part is fact and other parts are not. When in reality it is only a small minority who actually care about the facts and details of contracts released. No party is ever trully thinking about releasing legal papers about what was offered and what wasn't as they don't really need to satisfy the fanatic's who want the ins and outs confirmed. What is fair and what isn't is only down to interpretation anyway especially with the interviews available for the public....

So all that can really be said from the facts actually released is that Haye did not like the contract put forward and he is very much entitled to make his own decision without being deemed a coward by those who think they have inside information.

Haye's intent is their and always has been and that is to unify the heavyweight devision. It was never gonna be as straight forward as he naively beleived, which has led to him taking WBA belt and maybe other fights that will eventually lead to a fight with a Klitchko that will represent a generous earner for himself win or lose.

This is my interpretation of the matter and I'm willing to wait untill proven right or wrong.
But for today, the quotes made from Haye have personally resolved my confidence in the man.

Can anyone elaborate on those personal problems please?

Im just suprised people dont realise how obvious it is this will happen, with everything at stake.

Fights this big will almost ALWAYS happen.

Both guys want it. Both guys can fight. Both guys will fight, all we need to do is stop wasting our time bitching and wait for the superfight to be made. (This also applies to Pac-May)

Basic moral - trying to use Boxrec as the gospel truth on upcoming fights is open to failure.

Considering just how much of a blabber-gums Audley has been for the entirely of his career, so is believing 100% what he says!

lets hope vitali chooses haye over valuev.

haye already beat valuev, vitali will prove nothing by beating him.

haye wants vitali, lets hope the sentiment is reciprocated!

Choose Haye for what? Haye could fight Wlad and what did he say "nothing".

To choose Haye is a waste of time because Haye will not signed to fight.
