Haye wants nothing to do with Vitali.

Even if Haye could get a rematch with Wlad then he'd earn approx. 10% of what he earned last Saturday (according to Bunce). Heck even Wlad would earn much less because HBO wouldn't be on board and even if it was on PPV in the UK the amount of views would likely be a lot lower for a 2nd fight before Oct 31st.

It is honorable of Haye to say he wants to try again but I doubt there's enough global interest in the fight right now.

Haye clearly lost most every round. A rematch just wouldn't sale much right now.

Honestly off that performance wlad could demand 90% and it be seen as reasonable.

If vitali beats adamek as clearly as wlad beat haye then vitali and haye will likely be 1 and 2 so he might get more out of vitali because I believe vitali genuinely wants to batter haye. Now if he wins that he's back 50/50 with wlad.

So it seems to me he has to go through vitali or take peanuts.

Im not so sure now. After all the dust has settled, people will look at the other HWs and think, is there anyone better than Haye? At least you could argue it wasn't an easy fight for Wlad and Haye got his attention a few times during the fight. Unfortunately, i don't think Wlad would want a rematch as he'll think its job done. If it was Vitali (the fighter in him), he'd probably want one just to finish Haye off.

    Its over for Haye.
The only way he is getting a rematch is taking a few fights before it, and that isn't happening.
I would love to see him against Adamek but it's highly unlikely.
Expect to see Haye next as the new Conan the Barbarian.

Does anyone here think Sky could put Haye - Vitali on PPV? Would that be sellable at all, with Haye coming straight off the loss?

I remember Hatton had 1-2 interim bouts after Floyd before going to Pacman. To sell a bout at PPV I blieve both parties need some positive momentum going into the fight, at least for marketing purposes?! How do you guys see it.

In he interview on SKY Haye sounds actually quite humble and fairly realistic about the fight.

In terms of a rematch, well, I don't know how much he'd bring to the table for one. I mean his purse is going to be lower, would he buy rate for SKY be anywhere near what it was this time and as he's not a mandatory challenger or anything he'd be getting a much lower purse.

Of course if he went and beat a top ten guy then maybe a different story.

Perhaps Wlad could offer him a guarantee that if he beats a top ten contender he'll get a rematch in the new year or end of this year or something. I know he's got his retirement date set out but maybe this'd be an incentive to delay it.

David Haye's main priority is $$$. If Sky don't put him vs Vitali on Box Office, he will just go to Primetime or another channel, just like Amir Khan. David Haye is an embarrassment to the sport. :rasta

If you were talking about the 12-round rehabilitation with Dr Steelhammer as his resident doctor, you might be right, it worked.

Hatton's fights after losing to Mayweather were both PPV, and they were Laszcano and Malignaggi. I don't see why Haye vs Klitschko wouldn't be.

Wow. Very honest interview! I was expecting a few bull**** excuses, but that was pretty honest.
